This clinical trial evaluates whether the Transportation for Cancer Care Navigation Tool (TRACT) can reduce travel barriers among patients with solid tumors receiving radiation therapy. It is estimated that 20-30% patients with cancer experience travel-related barriers for cancer care. This is a particular problem for patients with radiation therapy as these patients frequently receive multiple treatment cycles, which often require daily treatment for multiple weeks or months. Addressing travel barriers has been a prerequisite for cancer care as travel barriers negatively influence cancer treatment adherence and cancer care outcomes, such as survival and quality of life. The TRACT program may help reduce travel barriers and therefore promote health equity among patients with solid tumors receiving radiation therapy. Read Less

This study is open to adults with advanced cancer of the colon, rectum, stomach, or pancreas, that is the cancer cannot be removed by surgery or has spread. People can take part in this study if their previous treatment was not successful, or no other treatment exists. The study aims to find the highest dose for the study medicine called BI 765049 that people with advanced cancer can tolerate. Another purpose is to find the most suitable dose and best way of administration of BI 765049 for further clinical development. BI 765049 may help the immune system fight cancer. Participants receive BI 765049 at least once every 3 weeks. Participants may continue to get BI 765049 treatment as long as they benefit from treatment but no longer than 3 years. During this time, participants regularly visit the study site. The study visits include several overnight stays at the hospital. At the visits, study doctors check participants' health, take necessary laboratory tests, and note any unwanted effects. Unwanted effects are any health problems that the doctors think were caused by the study medicine or treatment. To find the highest dose of BI 765049 that participants can tolerate, researchers look at the number of participants with certain severe health problems. These are severe health problems that happen within 1 week after the first treatment with the intended dose. Read Less

Study CL3-95031-007 (CHONQUER) is a Phase 3, international, multicenter, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study of orally administered ivosidenib. Participants are required to have a histopathological diagnosis consistent with isocitrate dehydrogenase-1 (IDH1) gene-mutated, locally advanced or metastatic conventional chondrosarcoma Grades 1, 2, or 3 and not eligible for curative resection. IDH1 mutant status will be determined during pre-screening/screening phase. Participant must have radiographic progression/recurrence of disease according to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST v1.1) and have received 0 to 1 prior systemic treatment regimen in the advanced/metastatic setting for conventional chondrosarcoma. The primary endpoint is progression-free survival (PFS) in Grades 1 and 2 participants. Key secondary endpoints are PFS in all randomized participants, overall survival (OS) in Grades 1 and 2 participants, and OS in all randomized participants. Sodium zirconium cyclosilicate has been shown to be effective and safe in adults for the treatment of hyperkalaemia, and therefore it is expected to be beneficial in children. This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of sodium zirconium cyclosilicate for the treatment of hyperkalaemia in children \<18 years of age. Approximately 140 participants will enter CP at approximately 46 sites in locations including but not limited to Europe and North America for this study. Treatment will include 3 phases: the CP, MP, and LTMP. Enrolment will start in 2 cohorts, ages 6 to \< 12 years and 12 to \< 18 years. After review of accumulated data, the independent Data Monitoring Committee (iDMC) will recommend whether to open enrolment in the ages 2 to \< 6 years cohort and later in the ages 0 to \< 2 years cohort. All eligible participants with hyperkalaemia will enter an open-label Correction Phase (CP) receiving a fixed dose of SZC three times daily (TID) for up to 3 days until normokalaemia is achieved. Within each age cohorts 2 to \< 18 years, initial participants will be allocated to the dose level (DL) based on body weight equivalent to an adult 5 g TID. After recommendation of higher DLs by the iDMC, subsequent participants may be allocated in the CP to on body weight equivalent to an adult 10 g TID and then potentially on body weight equivalent to an adult 15 g TID. All participants in the ages 0 to \< 2 years cohort will be assigned to the same DL which will be decided based on data from older age cohorts. Participants who successfully achieve normokalaemia in the CP will enter a 28-day open-label Maintenance Phase (MP), which will be initiated with once daily administration of the dose received TID in the CP. During MP, the Investigator is able to titrate the dose up or down in the range 2.5 g to 15 g body weight equivalent to maintain normokalaemia. The purpose of this study is to provide ongoing access to study treatments for participants with multiple myeloma or smoldering multiple myeloma benefiting from treatment in certain Janssen Research and Development (R\&D) studies that use daratumumab as part of the study treatment regimen: access for all participants regardless of treatment group in daratumumab studies and access to participants in daratumumab-containing arms in the non-daratumumab studies will be allowed from studies which have reached clinical cutoff for final analysis. This is a 3-arm randomized controlled trial. Participants will be randomized via a maximally tolerated imbalance randomization procedure using NCI's Clinical Trial Randomization Tool with 1:1:1 allocation to each group: in-person peer recovery coaching (PRC) with linkage to recovery resources, telemedicine-based peer recovery coaching with linkage to recovery resources, or usual care. In the PRC arms, PRCs will meet patients at bedside (in person) or via a tablet-based video call (telemedicine). They will assess the participant's state of change, engage in motivational interviewing techniques, and link the participant to community-based recovery resources according to the needs of the participant. They will also schedule and perform follow up calls after the participant is discharged from the ED to provide ongoing support and facilitate re-linkage to recovery resources, if needed. Participants in the usual care arm will be provided with a list of community recovery resources, but there will be no PRC interaction or direct linkage to resources through the study. Follow up visits will take place at 7, 30, and 90 days after enrollment. Most will take place via telephone, but participants will be given the option of an in-person visit if they so desire. Recent medical guidelines for the management of heart failure (HF) have established a combination of specific classes of medications as the best treatment for patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). However, studies have shown that these medications, known together as guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT), are not being used in clinical practice less often than they could be. Several tools to promote broader use of these treatments (including patient checklists) have shown promise for increasing use of GDMT. However, these tools have not been broadly implemented within large health systems. The goal of this study is to see if using these tools broadly within cardiology clinics will increase the use of GDMT. This study is important because it could help improve the use of GDMT, which may lead to improved patient care and outcomes. Read Less
