Ulcerative Colitis Paid Clinical Trials in Iowa

The purpose of this protocol is to evaluate the efficacy of tulisokibart in participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis. Study 1's primary hypotheses are that at least 1 tulisokibart dose level is superior to Placebo in the proportion of participants achieving clinical remission according to the Modified Mayo Score at Week 12, and that at least 1 tulisokibart dose level is superior to Placebo in the proportion of participants achieving clinical remission according to the Modified Mayo Score at week 52. The main aim of this study is to learn if TAK-279 reduces bowel inflammation and symptoms compared to placebo. Another aim is to compare any medical problems that participants have when they take TAK-279 or placebo and how well the participants tolerate any problems. The participants will take capsules of either TAK-279 or placebo for up to 3 months (12 weeks). Then all the participants will receive TAK-279 for the rest of the treatment part of the study (1 year or 52 weeks). During the study, participants will visit their study clinic several times. TARGET-IBD is a 5-year, longitudinal, observational study of adult and pediatric patients (age 2 and above) being managed for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in usual clinical practice. TARGET-IBD will create a research registry of patients with IBD within academic and community real-world practices in order to assess the safety and effectiveness of current and future therapies. This is a multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety of ABX464 50mg and 25mg administered once daily (QD) as maintenance therapy in subjects with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis who have inadequate response, no response, a loss of response, or an intolerance to either conventional therapies \[corticosteroids, immunosuppressant (i.e. azathioprine, 6-mercaptopurine, methotrexate)\] and/or advanced therapies \[biologics (TNF inhibitors, anti-integrins, anti-IL-23), and/or S1P receptor modulators, and/or JAK inhibitors\].
