This proposal outlines the steps required for the creation of a pilot database of EEG recordings and de-identified medical records from patients internally referred within the UNMH Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. The UNMH EEG Corpus would be the first database of its kind. Other public databases contain either patient EEG signals or medical records, but without both kinds of information, it is impossible to relate pre-treatment neurobiomarkers with post-treatment prognosis. The database will also contain information that can improve seizure localization based off of scalp and intracranial EEG, and the requisite data for the creation of algorithms that forecast seizure activity; a development that could ultimately lead to novel responsive neural stimulation procedures that suppress seizures before they begin. This trial will recruit veterans with chronic pain (N = 160) who are prescribed buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD). We seek to: (1) examine the efficacy of an integrated treatment to reduce pain interference and substance misuse (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention [ACT + MBRP]) compared to an education control (EC) consisting of a protocol-based series of education sessions concerning chronic pain, opioids, and buprenorphine use and (2) examine how theoretically-relevant treatment mechanisms of pain acceptance, engagement in values-based action, and opioid craving are related to treatment outcomes. An open-label, controlled, multi-site, interventional, 2-arm, Phase II trial of BNT113 in combination with pembrolizumab vs pembrolizumab monotherapy as first line treatment in patients with unresectable recurrent or metastatic HPV16+ HNSCC expressing programmed cell death ligand -1 (PD-L1) with combined positive score (CPS) ≥1. This trial has two parts. Part A, an initial non-randomized Safety Run-In Phase to confirm the safety and tolerability at the selected dose range level of BNT113 in combination with pembrolizumab. Part B, the Randomized part of the trial to generate pivotal efficacy and safety data of BNT113 in combination with pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab monotherapy in the first line setting in patients with unresectable recurrent or metastatic HPV16+ HNSCC expressing PD-L1 with CPS ≥1. For Part B, an optional pre-screening phase is available for all patients where patients' tumor samples may be submitted for central HPV16 DNA and central PD-L1 expression testing prior to screening into the main trial. KDDP is a prospective, 12-month pilot study comparing the effects of a novel lifestyle program, the Ketogenic Diet and Diabetes Demonstration Project (KDDP) to those of the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDDP). KDDP is modeled to mimic the delivery platform of NDPP with the exception that participants in KDDP will be placed on a medically-supervised ketogenic diet, and participants in NDPP will be placed on a low fat diet. The purpose of this study is to compare the metabolic effects of the KDDP and the NDPP on glycemic control, lipid parameters, blood pressure, heart rate, weight, and coronary artery calcium scores in individuals with either type 2 diabetes or prediabetes. Human immuno-deficiency virus (HIV) is the virus that causes Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). HIV disease is considered to be a chronic disease requiring lifelong therapy. The purpose of this study is to assess change in disease activity, adverse events, tolerability, and how the drug moves through the body. Budigalimab and ABBV-382 are investigational drugs being developed for the treatment of HIV disease. Participants are placed in 1 of 5 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 7 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo (A placebo is not a drug and it is not expected to have any chemical effects on your body and it is not designed to treat any disease or illness). Approximately 140 adult participants living with HIV disease on stable antiretroviral therapy (ART) willing to undergo Analytical Treatment Interruption (ATI) will be enrolled at approximately 90 sites worldwide. Participants will receive 4 doses of IV budigalimab or placebo combined with 3 doses of IV ABBV-382 or placebo for an 8 week dosing period. Participants need to be stable on antiretroviral therapy to participate in the study. If participant qualifies to the study, on the day they receive the first injection, participants will be asked to stop antiretroviral medications (also referred to as analytical treatment interruption or ATI) for 52 weeks or until meeting specific criteria to restart antiretroviral medications. Participants will undergo a closely monitored ART interruption. Protocol-defined ART restart criteria includes participant's request. Participants will be followed for up to approximately 52 weeks. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. There will be an option for virtual or home health visits for some of the follow-up visits. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires. Read Less
