A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo Controlled, Multicenter, Efficacy and Safety Trial of Single Cycle Tetrodotoxin in the Treatment of Chemotherapy Induced Neuropathic Pain

To be eligible for the trial, subjects must have ongoing moderate to severe neuropathic pain related to a prior course of platinum and/or taxane chemotherapy and have no clinical evidence of actively progressive disease.

Over one-quarter of American adults engage in hazardous drinking (i.e., a pattern of alcohol consumption that increases risk for harmful consequences), which is the third leading cause of preventable death in the U.S. Rates of hazardous drinking are significantly higher among individuals with (vs. without) chronic pain. rTMS and Rehabilitation for Individuals With CRPS Type 1
Recruiting
Subjects with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) Type 1 will be randomized to receive repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) followed by rehabilitation or sham rTMS followed by rehabilitation. Treatment will last for 4 weeks, with the first week including 4 rTMS treatments and 2 rehabilitation treatments.
