The state of New York currently has 57 active clinical trials seeking participants for Pancreatic Cancer research studies. These trials are conducted in various cities, including New York, Rochester, Bronx and Buffalo.
A Study of TAK-500 With or Without Pembrolizumab in Adults With Select Locally Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors
Recruiting
This study is about TAK-500, given either alone or with pembrolizumab, in adults with select locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The aims of the study are: to assess the safety profile of TAK-500 when given alone and when given with pembrolizumab. to assess the anti-tumor effects of TAK-500, when given alone and when given with pembrolizumab, in adults with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. Participants may receive TAK-500 for up to 1 year. Participants may continue with t... Read More

Testing the Addition of Pembrolizumab, an Immunotherapy Cancer Drug to Olaparib Alone as Therapy for Patients With Pancreatic Cancer That Has Spread With Inherited BRCA Mutations
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies whether adding pembrolizumab to olaparib (standard of care) works better than olaparib alone in treating patients with pancreatic cancer with germline BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). BRCA1 and BRCA2 are human genes that produce tumor suppressor proteins. These proteins help repair damaged deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and, therefore, play a role in ensuring the stability of each cell's genetic material. When either of t... Read More

Palbociclib and Binimetinib in RAS-Mutant Cancers, A ComboMATCH Treatment Trial
Recruiting
This phase II ComboMATCH treatment trial evaluates the effectiveness of palbociclib and binimetinib in treating patients with RAS-mutated cancers. Palbociclib and binimetinib are both in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. They work by blocking the action of abnormal proteins that signals cancer cells to multiply. This trial may help researchers understand if giving the combination of palbociclib and binimetinib can help improve the amount of time before the cancer grows in patients... Read More

Pancrelipase in People With Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC)
Recruiting
The main purpose of this study is to see how pancrelipase affects the body mass index (BMI) in people with metastatic PDAC. BMI is a measure based on a person's height and weight. Other study goals are to explore two different dosing schedules of pancrelipase and to evaluate pancrelipase in people who do not have symptoms of EPI.

Testing the Addition of a New Anti-cancer Drug, M3814 (Peposertib), to Radiation Therapy for Localized Pancreatic Cancer
Recruiting
This phase I/II trial studies the safety, side effects and best dose of M3814 and to see how well it works when given together with radiation therapy in treating patients with pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery and has not spread to other parts of the body (localized). M3814 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may... Read More

A Study of LY4101174 in Participants With Recurrent, Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to find out whether the study drug, LY4101174, is safe, tolerable and effective in participants with advanced, or metastatic solid tumors. The study is conducted in two parts - phase Ia (dose-escalation, dose-optimization) and phase Ib (dose-expansion). The study will last up to approximately 4 years.

Pancreatic Cancer Genetics
Recruiting
The aim of this study is to determine the frequency of the three most common BReast CAncer gene 1 (BRCA1) and BReast CAncer gene 2 (BRCA2) genetic mutations that are commonly found in Ashkenazi Jewish patients with pancreatic cancer. Testing for BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations in relatives of hereditary pancreatic cancer patients may have a significant impact; allowing for early screening, treatment, and resection of pre-malignant tissue or malignant lesions.

Developing New Educational Materials About Genetic Testing for a Diverse Group of Cancer Patients
Recruiting
Genetic testing is a type of test that detects changes to the genes-the DNA instructions that are passed on from the mother and father. The results of a genetic test can confirm whether the participant has a genetic disorder, which is a disease caused in whole or in part by changes to the genes. Genetic testing can also help determine a person's chance of getting or passing on a genetic disorder. Genetic tests use a sample of blood, hair, skin, or other tissue, and they can look at one gene or m... Read More
