The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether a new type of imaging study, called 18F-Clofarabine (CFA) PET/CT, can be used to image cancer pyrimidine metabolism in participants. PET (positron emission tomography) imaging is a way of looking at cancers that can reveal cancer metabolism. Presently, however, there are no imaging agents in routine use to look at an aspect of cancer metabolism (pyrimidine metabolism) that dictates whether certain cancer drugs, e.g., gemcitabine, are likely to be taken into the cancer cells. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if KQB365 works to treat advanced solid tumor cancer in adults. It will also learn about the safety of KQB365. The main questions it aims to answer are: * What is the safe dose of KQB365 by itself or in combination with cetuximab? * Does KQB365 alone or in combination with cetuximab decrease the size of the tumor? * What happens to KQB365 in the body? Participants will: * Receive KQB365 infusion weekly alone or in combination with cetuximab * Visit the clinic about 9 times in the first 6 weeks, and then once every week after that. Read Less

The Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (CCSS) will investigate the long-term effects of cancer and its associated therapies. A retrospective cohort study will be conducted through a multi-institutional collaboration, which will involve the identification and active follow-up of a cohort of approximately 50,000 survivors of cancer, diagnosed before 21 years of age, between 1970 and 1999 and 10,000 sibling controls. This project will study children and young adults exposed to specific therapeutic modalities, including radiation, chemotherapy, and/or surgery, who are at increased risk of late-occurring adverse health outcomes. TransCon IL-2 β/γ is an investigational drug being developed for treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. This is a first-in-human, open-label, Phase 1/2, dose escalation and dose expansion study of TransCon IL-2 β/γ as monotherapy or in combination therapy in adult participants with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The development of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for the treatment of stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has inspired a close partnership between thoracic surgery and radiation oncology. In this study, patients with stage I NSCLC will be screened prior to treatment and will be consented after their treatment plan has been determined. This clinical trial tests how well a geriatric assessment (GA) with GA-directed treatment recommendations, compared to GA with usual care, works in identifying risk factors, reducing chemotherapy radiation toxicity and functional decline, and improving the overall quality of life in older patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Older patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy are at an increased risk of adverse outcomes including treatment toxicity and functional and physical consequences. This makes it very challenging for the physicians to balance the benefits against the risk of chemotherapy in older cancer patients. A geriatric assessment may be useful in identifying risk factors for chemotherapy radiation toxicity. Communicating these geriatric assessment findings and assessment-based recommendations to a patient's treating physicians may help them make more informed decisions about treatment options for patients. Making treatment decisions using GA-based recommendations may reduce adverse events and improve outcomes in patients receiving treatment for NSCLC. Read Less

This phase II trial studies the side effects of radiation therapy followed by atezolizumab in treating patients with stage II or III non-small cell lung cancer. Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more cancer cells and have fewer side effects. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. The purpose of this study is to test the safety and effectiveness of radiation therapy followed by atezolizumab and find out what side effects, if any, it has on patient's non-small cell lung cancer. This phase Ib/II trial tests the safety, best dose and how well gemcitabine and ex vivo expanded allogenic universal donor TGFBi NK cells with or without naxitamab work for the treatment of patients with GD2 expressing, HER2 negative breast cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Gemcitabine is a chemotherapy drug that blocks the cells from making deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill cancer cells. TGFBi NK cells are manufactured cells that are a part of your natural immunity. NK cells can recognize missing or incorrect proteins on tumor cells and then eliminate these tumor cells and TGFBi NK cells are created to be able to better kill the tumor cells. Naxitamab is a monoclonal antibody that targets GD2, which is a protein or sugar present on tumor cells but not very commonly found on normal cells. This antibody helps draw the attention of the immune system to the tumor cells that have GD2 to help attack the tumor cells. Giving gemcitabine and TGFBi NK cells with or without naxitamab may kill more tumor cells in patients with metastatic GD2 expressing, HER2 negative breast cancer. Read Less

Breast cancer (BC) is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women. Systemic cancer treatments are an important contributor to dramatic improvements in the long-term survival of women with BC. However, cancer treatment can lead to cognitive impairment and declines in quality of life in women with BC. Many cancer survivors experience memory and brain function decline following chemotherapy which can last for years. A newer diet pattern, Mediterranean-DASH \[Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension\] Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay (MIND), was shown to help with protecting brain functions. The MIND diet is high in anti-inflammatory nutrients (e.g., omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), carotenoids, B-vitamins, and polyphenols) and limits the intake of brain-unhealthy foods (i.e., butter/margarine, cheese, red meat, fried foods, pastries, and sweets), which may help alleviate negative cognitive outcomes from cancer treatments. This randomized controlled trial aims to investigate the effect of the MIND diet on cognitive functions in women with invasive BC starting systemic therapies. Read Less

This study assesses for early signs of damage to the heart following chest radiation therapy using both imaging (cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and cardiac positron emission tomography) and changes in blood biomarkers. This study determines if any changes in the heart muscle can be detected either during the course of radiation therapy or shortly thereafter using specialized imaging techniques or blood tests. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging may be used to help provide information about changes in the heart structure and function following radiation therapy. Positron emission tomography looks at differences in how the heart takes up radioactive sugar which is injected into the vein to assess changes in heart function following radiation therapy. This study may help identify patients at risk of heart issues following radiation therapy to the chest and ultimately help in the development of more effective and safe treatments for cancer in the future.
