Lung Cancer Paid Clinical Trials in Ohio

The goal of this study is to create a data set to add to Carevive's registry from real world clinical and patient reported data collected using an electronic care planning system (CPS) with remote symptom monitoring that is used in routine care for cancer patients on active treatment. Patients will complete a baseline survey in person using a secured device or remotely using their own electronic device in a location of their choice. Weekly electronic patient reported outcome (PRO) surveys are collected from the patients using the Carevive platform for a minimum of 12 weeks. This phase I trial finds out the best dose, possible benefits and/or side effects of papaverine when given together with chemoradiation intreating patients with stage II-III non-small cell lung cancer. Papaverine targets mitochondrial metabolism to decrease the cancer growth process. Giving papaverine with chemoradiation may work best to treat patients with non-small cell lung cancer. Read Less

This Phase 2b, multicohort, open-label clinical trial (QUILT-3.055) evaluates combination immunotherapies in patients with various advanced solid tumors who have progressed following prior PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor therapy. The trial includes six cohorts: Cohorts 1-4: Patients who progressed after an initial response (PR or CR) to prior PD-1/PD-L1 therapy, receiving combination therapy with N-803 and a PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor. (Closed to enrollment) Cohort 5: Patients who progressed while receiving treatment in cohorts 1-4; they receive combination therapy with N-803, a PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor, and PD-L1 t-haNK cells.(Closed to enrollment) Cohort 6A \& 6B: Patients with acquired resistance to prior PD-1/PD-L1 therapy; they receive combination therapy with N-803, docetaxel, and either pembrolizumab (6A) or nivolumab (6B). Treatment is administered for up to two years or until disease progression, and participants are closely monitored for adverse events (AEs), including immune-related AEs, with specific dose modifications outlined. The primary endpoint is objective response rate (ORR) assessed by RECIST v1.1. The goal of this platform clinical trial is to test how well novel treatment combinations work in participants with lung cancer. Substudy-01 will compare the different novel combinations versus standard of care in participants with metastatic (cancer that has spread) non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have not been treated before. Substudy-02 will compare the different novel combination versus standard of care in participants with cancer that has progressed after receiving previous treatment for metastatic NSCLC. Substudy-03 will compare the different novel combinations versus standard of care in participants with resectable stage II-III NSCLC. The purpose of this observational study is to collect clinical information, blood, and tumor tissue samples from participants diagnosed with stage I, stage II, or operable stage III cancer in select solid tumors. The information collected will be used to develop tests to better understand cancer, for example, to improve cancer detection and to assess the risk of cancer coming back. This phase Ib trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of the combination of vismodegib and atezolizumab in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent) or has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Vismodegib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving a combination of vismodegib and atezolizumab may be safe, tolerable and/or effective than either drug alone in treating patients with recurrent or metastatic NSCLC. Read Less
