The state of Oregon currently has 9 active clinical trials seeking participants for Multiple Sclerosis research studies. These trials are conducted in various cities, including Portland, Eugene, Medford and Clackamas.
Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS) Study of Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase (BTK) Inhibitor Tolebrutinib (SAR442168) (PERSEUS)
Recruiting
Primary Objective: To determine the efficacy of SAR442168 compared to placebo in delaying disability progression in primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS) Secondary Objectives: To evaluate efficacy of SAR442168 compared to placebo on clinical endpoints, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) lesions, cognitive performance, physical function, and quality of life To evaluate safety and tolerability of SAR442168 To evaluate population pharmacokinetics (PK) of SAR442168 in PPMS and its relations... MitoQ for Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to determine whether MS patients who receive Oral mitoquinone (MitoQ) have less fatigue than those receiving a placebo. A comparison between patient's fatigue scored at baseline and fatigue scored 12 weeks after drug initiation will assess if MitoQ has a significant change in fatigue.

Traditional Versus Early Aggressive Therapy for Multiple Sclerosis Trial
Recruiting
FDA-approved multiple sclerosis (MS) disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) target the relapsing phase of MS but have minimal impact once the progressive phase has begun. It is unclear if, in the relapsing phase, there is an advantage of early aggressive therapy with respect to preventing long-term disability. The infectious risks and other complications associated with higher-efficacy treatments highlight the need to quantify their effectiveness in preventing disability. The TRaditional versus Ear... Best Available Therapy Versus Autologous Hematopoetic Stem Cell Transplant for Multiple Sclerosis (BEAT-MS)
Recruiting
This is a multi-center prospective rater-masked (blinded) randomized controlled trial of 156 participants, comparing the treatment strategy of Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (AHSCT) to the treatment strategy of Best Available Therapy (BAT) for treatment-resistant relapsing multiple sclerosis (MS). Participants will be randomized at a 1 to 1 (1:1) ratio. All participants will be followed for 72 months after randomization (Day 0, Visit 0).
