The purpose of this randomized clinical trial is to treat patients with small to mid-sized abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), maximum diameter of 3.5 cm to 5.0 cm, using a locally delivered, single-dose endovascular treatment. The main question the study aims to answer is to demonstrate efficacy of the product for stabilization of these small to mid-sized AAA.The study will compare the treatment group to the typical standard of care for these patients, surveillance. All subjects will be followed at designated intervals at 30/60 days, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months with continued follow-up annually for up to 5 years. Read Less

This phase II trial studies how well the combination of dabrafenib and trametinib works after radiation therapy in children and young adults with high grade glioma who have a genetic change called BRAF V600 mutation. Radiation therapy uses high energy rays to kill tumor cells and reduce the size of tumors. Dabrafenib and trametinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking BRAF and MEK, respectively, which are enzymes that tumor cells need for their growth. Giving dabrafenib with trametinib after radiation therapy may work better than treatments used in the past in patients with newly-diagnosed BRAF V600-mutant high-grade glioma. Read Less

The main purpose of this study is to compare the clinical benefit, as measured by Progression-Free Survival (PFS), Objective Response Rate (ORR), and Overall Survival (OS), achieved by nivolumab in combination with ipilimumab or by nivolumab monotherapy in participants with Microsatellite Instability High (MSI-H) or Mismatch Repair Deficient (dMMR) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) is the most common type of arthritis that affects children. The term "idiopathic" means "of unknown origin". It is a chronic (long-lasting) disease that causes swelling, warmth, and pain of one or more small joints. Systemic JIA ia a rare and serious form of JIA. Systemic" means it may affect not only the joints but other parts of the body, including the liver, lungs and heart. sJIA is more severe and can be more challenging to diagnose and treat than other types of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. It is a lifelong disease for many patients and can continue into adulthood. This study will assess how safe and effective upadacitinib is in treating pediatric and adolescent participants aged 1 to < 18 with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) and will include a tocilizumab treatment arm for reference. Adverse events and change in the disease activity will be assessed. Upadacitinib is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of sJIA. Participants are assigned to 1 of 2 cohorts. In cohort 1, participants will receive upadacitinib or tocilizumab reference. In cohort 2, participants will receive upadacitinib. Approximately 90 participants with sJIA will be enrolled in approximately 45 sites worldwide. Participants will receive upadacitinib oral tablets once daily or oral solution twice daily or tocilizumab subcutaneous injection or intravenous infusion as per local label for 52 weeks and followed for approximately 30 days. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits/calls during the study at a hospital or clinic. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively describe the temporal and geographic utilization of COVID-19 therapies used for mild to moderate disease during different periods of SARS-CoV-2 variant circulation as well as to compare demographic and clinical characteristics of Veterans who are treated or do not receive these different therapies. The investigators will also perform similar descriptive epidemiology for other respiratory viruses, including RSV and influenza and other infectious diseases. This first phase will critically inform feasibility and direction of the second phase, in which the investigators will use target trial emulation design to study the comparative effectiveness of therapies and vaccines for COVID-19, respiratory viruses, including RSV, and influenza, and other infectious diseases. This phase II trial compares the effect of atezolizumab in combination with usual treatment with cabozantinib to cabozantinib alone in patients with papillary renal cell carcinoma that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) is a type of kidney cancer that forms in the lining of the tiny tubes in the kidney that return filtered substances that the body needs back to the blood and remove extra fluid and waste as urine. Most papillary tumors look like long, thin finger-like growths under a microscope. It is also called papillary kidney cancer or PRCC. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help body's immune system attack the cancer and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Cabozantinib is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply and may also prevent the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. By these actions it may help slow or stop the spread of cancer cells. Combination therapy with atezolizumab and cabozantinib may shrink the cancer and allow a longer survival time in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma. Read Less

Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is a commonly used treatment for brain tumors. It is a one-day (or in some cases two day), out-patient procedure during which a high dose of radiation is delivered to small spots in the brain while excluding the surrounding normal brain. Whole brain radiation therapy with hippocampal avoidance (HA-WBRT) is when radiation therapy is given to the whole brain, while trying to decrease the amount of radiation that is delivered to the area of the hippocampus. The hippocampus is a brain structure that is important for memory. Memantine is a drug that is given to help relieve symptoms that can be caused by WBRT, including problems with memory and other mental symptoms. Health Canada, the regulatory body that oversees the use of drugs in Canada, has not approved the sale or use of memantine in combination with WBRT to treat this kind of cancer, although they have allowed its use in this study. This clinical trial studies the effect of standard verbal counseling with or without a pictorial educational tool for the reduction of psychological morbidity in patients with stage 0-IIIA breast cancer receiving radiation therapy. Beginning radiation therapy for breast cancer can be stressful. Education about what to expect often reduces the stress, anxiety, and depression experienced by these patients. This study is being done to see how effective photos are in reducing stress, anxiety, and depression associated with radiation therapy for patients with breast cancer. Read Less
