Conduct a feasibility pilot RCT of a newly developed colorectal cancer screening (CRC) decision aid (DA) including 66 LHL adults 76-85 years recruited from community health centers. Hypotheses: Patients in the intervention group will be more likely to change their intentions to be screened with fewer patients with \<10 year LE and/or those with \>10 year LE and no risk factors intending to be screened and more with \>10 year LE and risk factors for CRC and/or those who have never been screened intending to be screened (primary outcome). The secondary outcomes are that the patients in the intervention group will have 1. increased knowledge of CRC screening options and the benefits and risks of these options; 2. increased SDM engagement; and 3. find the DA acceptable. The overarching goal of this trial is to develop mechanisms to improve cardiovascular care among such prostate cancer patients receiving ADT by increasing patient awareness of individualized cardiovascular risk estimates and mitigation opportunities. Patients will be given access to a web-based quality improvement tool to educate patients of cardiovascular risks in prostate cancer and to inform them of their individualized, estimated cardiovascular risk and guideline-based risk mitigation recommendations. The study will assess the feasibility of this web-based application as a cardiovascular education tool for patients with prostate cancer. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, MTD and RP2D of LP-184 in patients with advanced solid tumors who have relapsed from or are refractory to standard therapy or for whom no standard therapy is available. The secondary objectives are to characterize the PK of LP-184 and its metabolites in plasma and assess clinical activity of LP-184. The purpose of this research is to assess how patients with cancer being treated with Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors (ICI) manage symptoms related to cancer and/or its treatment. Patients use a variety of ways to manage symptoms including traditional and alternative treatments including cannabis, acupuncture, etc. This research will have an important impact on our knowledge of cancer symptom management, and ultimately improve patient care and safety. Participants will complete online surveys and 7 days of ecological momentary assessments at 0, 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12 month to compare the cannabis users and non cannabis users symptoms. Read Less

Patients with newly diagnosed primary estrogen-receptor (ER) positive breast cancer, with at least one breast lesion that is 1.0 cm in diameter or greater, may be eligible for this study. Patients may participate in this study if they are at least 18 years of age. Up to 20 evaluable subjects will participate in a single imaging cohort. Study subjects will undergo imaging of the breast with a novel device combining dedicated Breast Positron Emission Tomography (BPET) and Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) following intravenous injection of \[18F\]-Fluoroestradiol (FES). This is an observational study; FES-BPET/DBT will not be used to direct treatment decisions. While patients and referring physicians will not be blinded to the FES-BPET/DBT results, treatment decisions are made by the treating physicians based upon standard clinical imaging. Read Less

The overarching goal of our research is to define an evidence-based, sustainable approach to identifying and managing genetic risk among young adults with cancer and their relatives. Conventional practice leaves referral and testing decisions to mostly non-expert clinicians implementing complex guidelines at the point of care, leading to substantial under-utilization. The investigators hypothesize that panel-based universal screening coupled with electronic medical record- (EMR-) based algorithms can improve ascertainment of genetic risk by functioning as an automated, radically simplified default practice in place of repeated single decisions requiring clinician cognitive effort and action.
