The goal of this clinical trial is to develop and evaluate the preliminary efficacy of an intervention to address reducing alcohol use, sexual revictimization, and psychological distress among bisexual+ women (i.e., attraction to more than one gender: bisexual, pansexual, queer). The main questions the study seeks to answer are: 1) what is the feasibility of the recruitment method, research design, interventionist training methods, and delivery of the intervention; 2) does the intervention, relative to control, at the 2- and 4-month follow-up period, produce reductions in the quantity and frequency of alcohol use, sexual victimization, and psychological distress (anxiety, depression). The study is about helping teens who are involved in the court system to cut down or quit using marijuana. Teens may be asked to test out an experimental smartphone app, called TECH, that will be used only by teens in this study. This app is a private online community where teens can work towards changing their substance use and other behavior with the help of other anonymous teens. We will use this information to learn how the app may help teens make a change and to improve the TECH app. Read Less

This is a one-year study that seeks to evaluate perspectives of combined injectable treatment for HIV and OUD. Specifically, with the development of new long-acting medications such as cabotegravir co-administered with rilpivirine (CAB/RPV) and extended-release buprenorphine (XR-B) there is a need to better understand factors that influence the delivery and uptake of this type of treatment. Therefore, this study will conduct qualitative (1:1) interviews with 32-45 key stakeholders to assess interest, knowledge, attitudes, barriers, and facilitators to integrated injectable treatment. This study originally included 100 subjects with medication-refractory depression undergoing 10 Hz transcranial magnetic stimulation (10Hz-TMS) to the left dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC), with the goal of having 60 completers with good quality data. Subjects were recruited from the TMS clinics at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham & Women's Hospital, and Butler Hospital. Subjects underwent an hour-long MRI scanning session, an optional DNA-sample collection, up to three 20 minute neuronavigation sessions for marking the site of TMS stimulation, questionnaires, and a behavioral testing battery before and after their TMS treatment course. The task battery included the Emotion Conflict Resolution (ECR) task, Multi-Source Interference Task (MSIT), War Game (Gambling) task, and Associative Learning with Reversal task. Subjects' scores on the Quick Inventory of Depressive Symptomatology (QIDS) and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) were assessed before and after the TMS course. MRI data was utilized to identify brain regions whose connectivity to the stimulation site co-varies with the aforementioned measures of symptom improvement. This was the only study group until August 30, 2022, and the primary outcome was analyzed for the 10Hz-TMS group. Due to changes in clinical standard of care from 10Hz-TMS to a newer version of TMS termed intermittent theta burst (iTBS), in September 2022 a second group was added to include patients receiving this new form of TMS. This second group included another 100 patients with medication-refractory depression undergoing iTBS to the left dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC), with the intent to have 80 completers. Massachusetts General Hospital was added as a data collection site in lieu of Butler Hospital. Subjects will undergo an hour-long MRI scanning session, up to three 20 minute neuronavigation sessions for marking the site of TMS stimulation, questionnaires, and a behavioral testing battery before and after their TMS treatment course. The task battery will included the Emotion Conflict Resolution (ECR) task, Multi-Source Interference Task (MSIT), Penn Emotion Recognition Test, the Suicide/Death Implicit Association Test, and Associative Learning with Reversal task. Subjects' scores on the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) were assessed before and after the TMS course. This Phase 1a/1b study will evaluate the safety, tolerability and the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of KT-333 in Adult patients with Relapsed or Refractory (R/R) Lymphomas, Large Granular Lymphocytic Leukemia (LGL-L), T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL), and Solid Tumors. The goal of this clinical trial is to compare treatment outcomes between an oral medication (beta agonist) versus onabotulinumtoxinA injections in women with urgency urinary incontinence (UUI). Participants will be randomly selected to receive one of the two treatments. The primary outcome measure will be at 3 months, and women will be followed for a total of 12 months. The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed healthcare delivery; arguably, the fields of obstetrics and pediatrics have experienced some of the greatest changes as they have transitioned away from their role as a medical home and into more of an urgent care model of care. Baby2Home is a digital health intervention designed to bridge the resultant gaps in obstetrics and pediatrics healthcare services for new families over the first year of life. This randomized controlled trial will evaluate whether, compared to usual care, Baby2Home 1) improves maternal, paternal, and infant health service utilization outcomes over the first year postpartum, 2) improves maternal and paternal patient reported outcomes, and 3) reduces racial/ethnic and income-based disparities in preventive health services utilization and parental patient reported outcomes. The objectives of this study are to test the preliminary safety and efficacy of a two-day peri-operative course of treprostinil in reducing ischemia-reperfusion injury in adult patients receiving a deceased donor kidney transplantation. Treprostinil, a prostacyclin analog, is expected to facilitate the restoration of blood supply to the revascularized kidney graft via its vasodilatory actions, well characterized protective effects, and longer elimination half-life. These properties and actions of treprostinil make it a strong drug candidate to reduce kidney graft dysfunction during kidney transplantation. An anticipated 20 participants undergoing deceased donor kidney transplant will be hospitalized and intensively monitored during an entire two-day Treatment Phase. An IV infusion using a dedicated central venous line will be used to administer treprostinil commencing approximately 2-3 hours before transplantation of the kidney graft and will continue for approximately 48 hours after completion of the transplant surgery. The primary endpoints include the safety and efficacy of treprostinil, with secondary endpoints including the evaluation of both biochemical and clinical endpoints post-transplantation. Read Less
