This study will look at how well CagriSema helps people with type 2 diabetes lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new investigational medicine. Doctors may not yet prescribe CagriSema. CagriSema will be compared to a medicine called tirzepatide that doctors may prescribe in some countries. Participants will get either CagriSema or tirzepatide. Which treatment participant get is decided by chance like flipping a coin. Participant will have an equal chance of receiving either drug. The goal of the Self-monitoring With Internet Technology to Choose Healthy Diets (SWITCH) study is to examine a 12-week remotely delivered program designed to help adults adopt a healthy dietary lifestyle and lose weight in a diverse cohort of adults with overweight/obesity. The intervention uses a self-determination theory framework to provide a deeper understanding of the factors that influence dietary behavior within the context of tracking. This study incorporates autonomy-supportive strategies to encourage participants to feel more in control of their dietary choices and will provide information and resources to boost participant's competence in achieving their dietary goals. The intervention includes weekly learning modules to support healthy eating and weight loss and daily dietary tracking with visual feedback, all accessible within the SWITCH app. Read Less

The purpose of this single-arm interventional study is to evaluate the long-term safety, efficacy, and durability of the Symplicity Spyral system in subjects treated with renal denervation. CagriSema cannot yet be prescribed by doctors. The study will compare CagriSema to the 2 medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. It will also compare CagriSema to a "dummy" medicine (also called placebo) without any active ingredient. Participant will either get CagriSema 2.4 mg, semaglutide 2.4 mg, cagrilintide 2.4 mg or placebo. Which treatment participant will get is decided by chance (like flipping a coin). This study compares insulin icodec, a new insulin taken once a week, to insulin glargine, an insulin taken once a day. The study medicine will be investigated in participants with type 2 diabetes. Participants will either get insulin icodec or insulin glargine. Which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Insulin icodec is the new medicine being tested, while insulin glargine is already approved and can be prescribed by doctors. Participants will get one injection of insulin icodec once a week, or one injection of insulin glargine once a day, depending on the treatment group participants are assigned into. Participants will use a pen with a small needle to inject the medicine under participants skin into participants thigh, upper arm or stomach.The study will last for about 9 months, but participants will only be taking the study medicine for 6 months.
