Lymphoma Paid Clinical Trials in South Dakota

This phase III trial compares the effect of adding immunotherapy (brentuximab vedotin and nivolumab) to standard treatment (chemotherapy with or without radiation) to the standard treatment alone in improving survival in patients with stage I and II classical Hodgkin lymphoma. Brentuximab vedotin is in a class of medications called antibody-drug conjugates. It is made of a monoclonal antibody called brentuximab that is linked to a cytotoxic agent called vedotin. Brentuximab attaches to CD30 positive lymphoma cells in a targeted way and delivers vedotin to kill them. A monoclonal antibody is a type of protein that can bind to certain targets in the body, such as molecules that cause the body to make an immune response (antigens). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs such as doxorubicin hydrochloride, bleomycin sulfate, vinblastine sulfate, dacarbazine, and procarbazine hydrochloride work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Cyclophosphamide is in a class of medications called alkylating agents. It works by damaging the cell's deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill cancer cells. It may also lower the body's immune response. Etoposide is in a class of medications known as podophyllotoxin derivatives. It blocks a certain enzyme needed for cell division and DNA repair and may kill cancer cells. Vincristine is in a class of medications called vinca alkaloids. It works by stopping cancer cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Prednisone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It is used to reduce inflammation and lower the body's immune response to help lessen the side effects of chemotherapy drugs. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Adding immunotherapy to the standard treatment of chemotherapy with or without radiation may increase survival and/or fewer short-term or long-term side effects in patients with classical Hodgkin lymphoma compared to the standard treatment alone. Researchers are looking for new ways to treat children with different types of melanoma (skin cancer), solid tumors, and lymphomas (blood cancers) that are any of these: * Advanced, which means cancer spread in the body or cannot be removed with surgery * Relapsed, which means cancer has come back after it had responded to previous treatment (responded means it stopped growing, gets smaller, or disappeared) * Refractory, which means cancer did not respond to previous treatment Pembrolizumab is an immunotherapy, which is a treatment that helps the immune system fight cancer. Researchers want to learn if different doses of pembrolizumab can cause at least 1 of the types of cancer to get smaller or go away. With Amendment 8, enrolment of participants with solid tumours and participants 6 months to under 12 years old with melanoma were closed. This phase III trial compares the effects of nivolumab with chemo-immunotherapy versus chemo-immunotherapy alone in treating patients with newly diagnosed primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma (PMBCL). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Treatment for PMBCL involves chemotherapy combined with an immunotherapy called rituximab. Chemotherapy drugs work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody. It binds to a protein called CD20, which is found on B cells (a type of white blood cell) and some types of cancer cells. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of zilovertamab vedotin as monotherapy and in combination in participants with select B-cell lymphomas including mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), Richter's transformation lymphoma (RTL), follicular lymphoma (FL), and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). This study will also evaluate zilovertamab vedotin as monotherapy and in combination with respect to objective response rate. * Cohort A: Participants with relapsed or refractory MCL relapsed or refractory disease after at least 2 prior systemic therapies including a Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibition/inhibitor (BTKi), and post therapy chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy or ineligible for CAR-T cell therapy * Cohort B: Participants with relapsed or refractory RT disease after at least 1 prior systemic therapy * Cohort C: Participants with relapsed or refractory MCL relapsed or refractory disease after at least 1 prior systemic therapy and no prior exposure to a non-covalent BTKi * Cohort D: Participants with relapsed or refractory FL and CLL relapsed or refractory disease after at least 2 prior systemic therapies and have no other available therapy * Cohort E: Participants with relapsed or refractory FL after at least 2 prior systemic therapies and have no other available therapy The primary study hypothesis is that zilovertamab vedotin monotherapy has an increased Objective Response Rate (ORR) per Lugano Response Criteria as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR). This study is testing the safety and tolerability of BGB-21447 monotherapy in participants with relapsed or refractory (R/R) non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL). The purpose of the study is to compare the efficacy of zanubrutinib plus obinutuzumab versus lenalidomide plus rituximab (R\^2) in participants with relapsed/refractory (R/R) follicular lymphoma (FL), as measured by progression-free survival as determined by an independent review committee in accordance with the 2014 modification of the International Working Group on non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) Criteria based on n positron emission tomography and computed tomography (PET/CT), and to compare the efficacy of zanubrutinib plus rituximab versus R\^2 in participants with R/R marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), as measured by progression free survival (PFS) assessed by IRC in accordance with CT-based Lugano 2014 Criteria. This is a global Phase 2, open-label, single-arm, multicohort, multicenter study to evaluate efficacy and safety of JCAR017 in adult subjects with r/r FL or MZL. The study will be conducted in compliance with the International Council on Harmonisation (ICH) of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use/Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements.
