Cryodevitalization for the Treatment of Early Stage Lung Cancer, CRYSTAL Trial
Recruiting
This clinical trial studies side effects and best treatment time of cryodevitalization in treating patients with early stage (stage I or stage II) lung cancer. Cryodevitalization is a type of cryosurgery that uses a flexible probe (cryoprobe) to kill tumor cells by freezing them. It is delivered at the time of standard diagnostic robotic bronchoscopy. Using cryodevitalization may be safe, tolerable and/or effective in treating patients with early stage lung cancer.

Recruiting
This phase I/II trial tests the safety and efficacy of split-course adaptive radiation therapy in combination with immunotherapy with or without chemotherapy for the treatment of patients with stage IV lung cancer or lung cancer that that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced). Radiation therapy is a standard cancer treatment that uses high energy rays to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Crizotinib in Treating Patients With Stage IB-IIIA Non-small Cell Lung Cancer That Has Been Removed by Surgery and ALK Fusion Mutations (An ALCHEMIST Treatment Trial)
Recruiting
This randomized phase III trial studies how well crizotinib works in treating patients with stage IB-IIIA non-small cell lung cancer that has been removed by surgery and has a mutation in a protein called anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK). Mutations, or changes, in ALK can make it very active and important for tumor cell growth and progression. Crizotinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the ALK protein from working. Crizotinib may be an effective treatment for patients with non-sma... Read More
