The participants are being asked to take part in this trial, because the participant is a survivor of childhood cancer or agreed to be part of a volunteer group to understand the relation between cancer and cancer treatment and muscle weakness in survivors of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). ALL is cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Primary Objective • To compare muscle mtOXPHOS activity and satellite cell content among ALL survivors and controls. Secondary Objective * To evaluate the association between muscle mtOXPHOS, muscle satellite cell content and physical performance in ALL survivors. * To evaluate the association of muscle morphology and epigenetics with muscle mtOXPHOS in ALL survivors. The goal of the study is to collect data on patients treated outside of a clinical trial (in routine clinical practice) with standard of care osimertinib with or without chemotherapy in Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR)-mutant Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) to better understand the safety and effectiveness of these standard of care regimens. This phase III trial compares the effect of bevacizumab and osimertinib combination vs. osimertinib alone for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer that has spread outside of the lungs (stage IIIB-IV) and has a change (mutation) in a gene called EGFR. The EGFR protein is involved in cell signaling pathways that control cell division and survival. Sometimes, mutations in the EGFR gene cause EGFR proteins to be made in higher than normal amounts on some types of cancer cells. This causes cancer cells to divide more rapidly. Osimertinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking EGFR that is needed for cell growth in this type of cancer. Bevacizumab is in a class of medications called antiangiogenic agents. It works by stopping the formation of blood vessels that bring oxygen and nutrients to tumor. This may slow the growth and spread of tumor. Giving osimertinib with bevacizumab may control cancer for longer and help patients live longer as compared to osimertinib alone. Read Less

Cancer is a condition where cells in a specific part of body grow and reproduce uncontrollably. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a solid tumor, a disease in which cancer cells form in the tissues of the lung. The purpose of this study is to determine if telisotuzumab vedotin works better than docetaxel and to assess how safe telisotuzumab vedotin is in adult participants with NSCLC who have previously been treated. Change in disease activity and adverse events will be assessed. Telisotuzumab vedotin is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of NSCLC. Participants will be randomly assigned a treatment of Teliso-V or Docetax at an 1:1 ratio. Each group receives intravenous (IV) infusion of telisotuzumab vedotin or IV infusion of docetaxel. Approximately 698 adult participants with c-Met overexpressing NSCLC will be enrolled in the study in approximately 300 sites worldwide. Participants will receive IV telisotuzumab vedotin every 2 weeks or docetaxel every 3 weeks until meeting study drug discontinuation criteria. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The purpose of this study is to generate evidence on an alternative dosing strategy for CDK4/6 inhibitors to help more patients with Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) (age ≥ 65 years) tolerate side effects and stay on treatment longer, to derive the most clinical benefit from these drugs. The primary objective of the CDK Study is to compare time to treatment discontinuation (TTD) on the approved dosing for palbociclib (125 mg orally daily on days 1-21 of 28-day cycle) or ribociclib (600 mg orally daily on days 1-21 of 28-day cycle) vs. TTD using titrated dosing approach with the same schedule but starting at a lower dose of palbociclib (100 mg or 75 mg) or ribociclib (400 mg or 200 mg) and escalating the dose if well-tolerated in combination with provider/patient choice endocrine therapy (aromatase inhibitor (AI) or fulvestrant) in patients age 65 or older with HR+/HER2- MBC. The secondary and exploratory objectives will generate evidence needed to personalize treatment decisions by comparing patient-centric secondary outcomes and evaluating baseline factors. Together with their treating physician, participants will choose the CDK4/6 inhibitor (palbociclib or ribociclib) and which endocrine therapy (aromatase inhibitor or fulvestrant) of their choice but will be randomized to either Arm 1 (indicated dosing) or Arm 2 (titrated dosing). This phase III trial compares durvalumab to the usual approach (patient observation) after surgery for the treatment of patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. The usual approach for patients who are not in a study is to closely watch a patient's condition after surgery and to have regular visits with their doctor to watch for signs of the cancer coming back. Usually, patients do not receive further treatment unless the cancer returns. This study will help determine whether this different approach with durvalumab is better, the same, or worse than the usual approach of observation. Giving durvalumab may help patients live longer and prevent early-stage non-small cell lung cancer from coming back as compared to the usual approach. Read Less

This phase III trial compares standard therapy given after surgery (adjuvant) to standard therapy given before and after surgery (perioperative) in treating patients with stage II-IIIB non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that can be removed by surgery (resectable). The usual approach for patients with resectable NSCLC is chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy before surgery, after surgery, or both before and after surgery. This study is being done to find out which approach is better at treating patients with lung cancer. Treatment will be administered according to the current standard of care at the time of enrollment. Chemotherapy options may include cisplatin, carboplatin, pemetrexed, gemcitabine, docetaxel, and vinorelbine at standard doses according to the treating physician. Cisplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works in a way similar to the anticancer drug cisplatin, but may be better tolerated than cisplatin. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Pemetrexed is in a class of medications called antifolate antineoplastic agents. It works by stopping cells from using folic acid to make deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill tumor cells. Gemcitabine is a chemotherapy drug that blocks the cells from making DNA and may kill tumor cells. Docetaxel is in a class of medications called taxanes. It stops tumor cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Other chemotherapy drugs, such as vinorelbine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading . Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, pembrolizumab, and atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the tumor, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Starting treatment with chemotherapy and immunotherapy prior to surgery and continuing treatment after surgery may be a more effective treatment option than adjuvant therapy alone in patients with stage II-IIIB resectable NSCLC.
