Carboplatin Treatment Options in California

This is an umbrella study evaluating the efficacy and safety of multiple treatment combinations in participants with metastatic or inoperable locally advanced breast cancer. The study will be performed in two stages. During Stage 1, four cohorts will be enrolled in parallel in this study: Cohort 1 will consist of Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1)-positive participants who have received no prior systemic therapy for metastatic or inoperable locally advanced triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) (first-line \[1L\] PD-L1+ cohort). Cohort 2 will consist of participants who had disease progression during or following 1L treatment with chemotherapy for metastatic or inoperable locally-advanced TNBC and have not received cancer immunotherapy (CIT) (second-line \[2L\] CIT-naive cohort). Cohort 3 will consist of participants with locally-advanced or metastatic HR+, HER2-negative disease with PIK3CA mutation who may or may not have had disease progression during or following previous lines of treatment for metastatic disease (HR+cohort). Cohort 4 will consist of participants with locally-advanced or metastatic HER2+ /HER2-low disease with PIK3CA mutation who had disease progression on standard-of-care therapies (HER2+ /HER2-low cohort). In each cohort, eligible participants will initially be assigned to one of several treatment arms (Stage 1). In addition, participants in the 2L CIT-naïve cohort who experience disease progression, loss of clinical benefit, or unacceptable toxicity during Stage 1 may be eligible to continue treatment with a different treatment combination (Stage 2), provided Stage 2 is open for enrollment. This trial studies how well iohexol works in helping doctors calculate the dose of carboplatin given to patients with cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Understanding how to best calculate the dose of carboplatin given to patients with cancer may help doctors learn how to improve the use of carboplatin in the future. Read Less

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and the best dose of ruxolitinib phosphate when given together with paclitaxel and carboplatin and to see how well they work in treating patients with stage III-IV epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. Ruxolitinib phosphate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving ruxolitinib phosphate together with paclitaxel and carboplatin may be a better treatment for epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer compared to paclitaxel and carboplatin alone. This study will evaluate the combination of a fixed dose pembrolizumab/vibostolimab co-formulation (MK-7684A) with etoposide/platinum chemotherapy followed by MK-7684A compared to the combination of atezolizumab with etoposide/platinum chemotherapy followed by atezolizumab in the first-line treatment of Extensive-Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer (ES-SCLC). The primary hypothesis is, with respect to overall survival, MK-7684A in combination with the background therapy of etoposide/platinum followed by MK-7684A, is superior to atezolizumab in combination with the background therapy of etoposide/platinum followed by atezolizumab. This study is researching an investigational drug called fianlimab (also called REGN3767) with two other medications called cemiplimab and chemotherapy, individually called a "study drug" or collectively called "study drugs". 'Investigational' means that the study drug is not approved for use outside of this study by any Health Authority. Examples of chemotherapy drugs include the following: Paclitaxel plus carboplatin, and Pemetrexed plus cisplatin. The study is being conducted in patients who have advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The aim of the study is to see how effective the combination of fianlimab, cemiplimab, and chemotherapy is for treating advanced NSCLC, in comparison with cemiplimab and chemotherapy. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from taking the study drugs * How much of each study drug is in your blood at different times * Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drugs (which could make the drug less effective or could lead to side effects) * How administering the study drugs might improve your quality of life Read Less

This trial will study tisotumab vedotin to find out whether it is an effective treatment alone or with other anticancer drugs for certain solid tumors and what side effects (unwanted effects) may occur. There are seven parts to this study. * In Part A, the treatment will be given to participants every 3 weeks (3-week cycles). * In Part B, participants will receive tisotumab vedotin on Days 1, 8, and 15 every 4-week cycle. * In Part C, participants will receive tisotumab vedotin on Days 1 and 15 of every 4-week cycle. * In Part D, participants will be given treatment on Day 1 of every 3-week cycle. Participants in Part D will get tisotumab vedotin with either: * Pembrolizumab or, * Pembrolizumab and carboplatin, or * Pembrolizumab and cisplatin * In Part E, participants will receive tisotumab vedotin on Days 1 and 15 of every 4-week cycle. * In Part F, participants will receive tisotumab vedotin on Days 1, 15, and 29 of every 6-week cycle. Participants in Part F will get tisotumab vedotin with pembrolizumab. * In Part G, participants will receive tisotumab vedotin on Days 1, 15, and 29 of every 6-week cycle. This trial will look at a drug called sigvotatug vedotin (SGN-B6A) alone and with pembrolizumab, with or without chemotherapy, to find out whether it is safe for people who have solid tumors. It will study sigvotatug vedotin to find out what its side effects are. A side effect is anything the drug does besides treating cancer. It will also study whether sigvotatug vedotin works to treat solid tumors. The study will have four parts. * Part A of the study will find out how much sigvotatug vedotin should be given to participants. * Part B will use the dose found in Part A to find out how safe sigvotatug vedotin is and if it works to treat solid tumors. * Part C of the study will find out how safe sigvotatug vedotin is in combination with these other drugs. * Part D will include people who have not received treatment. This part of the study will find out how safe sigvotatug vedotin is in combination with these other drugs and if these combinations work to treat solid tumors. * In Parts C and D, participants will receive sigvotatug vedotin with either: * Pembrolizumab or, * Pembrolizumab and carboplatin, or * Pembrolizumab and cisplatin.
