Biomarkers of Response to Pembrolizumab Combined With Chemotherapy in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (KEYNOTE-782, MK-3475-782)
Completed
Participants with Stage IV nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without prior systemic treatment will be treated with standard of care pembrolizumab combined with platinum-doublet chemotherapy for 4 cycles, then pembrolizumab plus pemetrexed maintenance for up to 31 additional cycles. The platinum doublet would be pemetrexed plus the investigator's choice of either cisplatin or carboplatin. The primary objective is to evaluate if total baseline tumor mutation burden (TMB) in cell-free... Read More

Evaluation of Dosing Procedures of Chemotherapy Treatment (Carboplatin) With the Contrast Agent Iohexol
Recruiting
This trial studies how well iohexol works in helping doctors calculate the dose of carboplatin given to patients with cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Understanding how to best calculate the dose of carboplatin given to patients with cancer may help doctors learn how to improve the use of carboplatin in the future.

Testing the Use of Targeted Treatment for RET Positive Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Withdrawn
This phase II Lung-MAP treatment trial tests whether carboplatin and pemetrexed with or without selpercatinib works to shrink tumors in patients with RET fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IV or has not responded to previous RET directed therapy. Chemotherapy drugs, such as carboplatin and pemetrexed, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Selpercatinib may st... Read More

Carboplatin and Paclitaxel With or Without Atezolizumab Before Surgery in Treating Patients With Newly Diagnosed, Stage II-III Triple-Negative Breast Cancer
Completed
This phase II trial studies how well carboplatin and paclitaxel with or without atezolizumab before surgery works in treating patients with newly diagnosed, stage II-III triple negative breast cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tum... Read More

Atezolizumab Plus Etoposide and Platinum in Small Cell Bladder Cancer
Recruiting
This is a single arm, Phase II trial involving the use of atezolizumab plus platinum and etoposide for patients with locally advanced urothelial cancer. The primary goal of this trial is to assess the pathologic complete response rate at cystectomy in patients after being treated with a combination therapy of atezolizumab, platinum, and etoposide.

Platinum in Treating Patients With Residual Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Following Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy
Active Not Recruiting
This randomized phase III trial studies how well cisplatin or carboplatin (platinum based chemotherapy) works compared to capecitabine in treating patients with remaining (residual) basal-like triple-negative breast cancer following chemotherapy after surgery (neoadjuvant). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, carboplatin and capecitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spre...
