Carboplatin Treatment Options in Pennsylvania

This is a phase II clinical trial in patients with metastatic castration sensitive prostate cancer. The objective of the study is to determine the efficacy and further define the safety of the treatment combination. This study will evaluate dose levels of carboplatin AUC 4 with cabazitaxel 20 mg/m2. Patients will be treated with the combination of ADT and carboplatin and cabazitaxel for 6 cycles. After 6 cycles of chemotherapy, they will start abiraterone with ADT. The primary objective is to determine the percent of subjects that have no PSA or radiographic progression at 1 year. Secondary objectives will include determining the progression-free survival, time to PSA nadir and time to PSA progression of carboplatin and cabazitaxel in combination with ADT. Read Less

This phase I trial studies the side effects, best dose, and best way to give pembrolizumab when given together with paclitaxel, carboplatin, and radiation therapy in treating patients with stage II-IIIB non-small cell lung cancer. Monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving pembrolizumab together with paclitaxel, carboplatin, and radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells. The Phase I part of the study will apply to identify dose-limiting toxicities (DLT) and to define maximum-tolerated dose (MTD) for a new chemoimmunotherapy combination of bendamustine, ofatumumab, carboplatin, and etoposide in patients with Non Hodgkin's lymphoma whose disease has progressed or has recurred after prior chemotherapy. The Phase II part of the study will be a single-arm, open-label study in which all patients will receive combination bendamustine, ofatumumab, carboplatin and etoposide at the MTD dose defined in phase I. This study hopes to identify a life-prolonging therapy for patients with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma whose disease has progressed or has recurred after prior chemotherapy. This is a randomized, Phase III, multicenter, open-label study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of atezolizumab in combination with cisplatin or carboplatin + pemetrexed compared with treatment with cisplatin or carboplatin + pemetrexed in participants who are chemotherapy-naive and have Stage IV non-squamous NSCLC. This phase II trial studies how well olaparib, cediranib maleate, and standard chemotherapy work in treating patients with small cell lung cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, cisplatin, and etoposide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Olaparib and cediranib maleate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Adavosertib, everolimus, and trametinib are drugs that each target a specific variation in tumors by blocking different proteins needed for cell growth. Veliparib blocks an enzyme that helps repair deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) damaged by chemotherapy, which may help chemotherapy drugs work better.
