This phase III clinical trial studies two different dose schedules of paclitaxel to see how well they work in combination with carboplatin with or without bevacizumab in treating patients with stage II, III or IV ovarian epithelial cancer, primary peritoneal cancer, or fallopian tube cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Bevacizumab is a type of drug called a monoclonal antibody and blocks tumor growth by stopping the growth of blood vessels that tumors need to grow. It is not yet known whether giving paclitaxel with combination chemotherapy once every three weeks is more effective than giving paclitaxel once a week in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer. This National Cancer Institute (NCI)-NRG ALK Protocol phase II trial studies how well a combination of different biomarker/ALK inhibitors work in treating patients with stage IV ALK positive non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer. Lorlatinib, ceritinib, alectinib, brigatinib, ensartinib, and crizotinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as pemetrexed, cisplatin, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. This is a phase 3, open-label, randomized, multi-center study assessing the efficacy and safety of DZD9008 versus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy in participants with locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC with EGFR Exon20ins mutation, who are newly diagnosed or have not received prior systemic therapy in advanced stage. Primary objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of DZD9008 versus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy using by BICR-assessed PFS per RECIST 1.1 as primary endpoint.
