This study will include patients with invasive cervical cancer that wish to keep their fertility as much as possible in the future after treatment. Patients who receive surgery alone may experience long-term side effects including infertility. The purpose of this research study is to determine whether giving neo-adjuvant chemotherapy prior to surgery can maintain fertility in patients with invasive cervical cancer. The neo-adjuvant chemotherapy will consist of a platinum-based chemotherapy drug cisplatin or carboplatin, with a chemotherapy drug called paclitaxel. This is an open label, multi-institutional, single arm Phase II trial. All patients will be treated with Carboplatin, Paclitaxel, Durvalumab and Radiation. All patients with non-PD after induction therapy who remain surgical candidates will undergo surgical resection 4-12 weeks following induction therapy. Adavosertib, everolimus, and trametinib are drugs that each target a specific variation in tumors by blocking different proteins needed for cell growth. Veliparib blocks an enzyme that helps repair deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) damaged by chemotherapy, which may help chemotherapy drugs work better. This is a study of ADI-PEG 20 (pegylated arginine deiminase), an arginine degrading enzyme versus placebo in patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma. Malignant pleural mesothelioma have been found to require arginine, an amino acid. This phase II trial studies the effect of bintrafusp alfa with pemetrexed and platinum-based chemotherapy (carboplatin or cisplatin) in treating patients with EGFR mutant non-small cell lung cancer that have spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or other places in the body (metastatic) and cannot be removed by surgery, and remains despite treatment with tyrosine kinase inhibitors (Resistant). Immunotherapy with bintrafusp alfa, a bifunctional fusion protein composed of the monoclonal antibody anti-PD-L1 and TGF-beta, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Pemetrexed may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Bevacizumab may also stop the growth of non-small cell lung cancer by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Pemetrexed disodium may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether giving bevacizumab or pemetrexed disodium alone or in combination is more effective in treating non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying bevacizumab and pemetrexed disodium alone or in combination after induction therapy to see how well they work in treating patients with advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer.
