This study is being done because, despite major advances in therapy, MM is still considered an incurable disease. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy (how well it works) of the study treatment that combines the following drugs: daratumumab, carfilzomib, lenalidomide, dexamethasone in subjects who have a recent diagnosis of multiple myeloma (MM). Normal plasma (blood) cells are found in the bone marrow and are an important part of the immune system. MM is a cancer formed by malignant (cancerous) plasma cells. Daratumumab, one of the study drugs, is a man-made protein that works with your immune system by attaching itself to the cancerous cells. Once daratumumab attaches itself to these cells, it gets your body's immune system to attack and destroy the MM cells. Daratumumab has shown to be effective in subjects with MM when combined with medicines like bortezomib, or lenalidomide + dexamethasone. Read Less

This is a study of a medical procedure that utilizes a commercially available catheter (the Bullfrog® Micro-Infusion Device) to locally deliver a commercially available anti-inflammatory drug (dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection) around the deep veins after DVT recanalization, where DVT symptoms were present for up to 14 days prior to recanalization. The goal of the study is to see if local anti-inflammation helps prevent re-thrombosis of the blood vessel and improvement in symptoms for up to 24 months after the initial DVT recanalization procedure. This randomized phase III trial studies antiemetic therapy with olanzapine to see how well they work compared to antiemetic therapy alone in preventing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in patients with cancer receiving highly emetogenic (causes vomiting) chemotherapy. Antiemetic drugs, such as palonosetron hydrochloride, ondansetron, and granisetron hydrochloride, may help lessen or prevent nausea and vomiting in patients treated with chemotherapy. Olanzapine may help prevent chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting by blocking brain receptors that appear to be involved in nausea and vomiting. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to test the good and bad effects of the study drugs bortezomib and vorinostat when they are given in combination with chemotherapy commonly used to treat acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in infants. For example, adding these drugs could decrease the number of leukemia cells, but it could also cause additional side effects. Bortezomib and vorinostat have been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat other cancers in adults, but they have not been approved for treating children with leukemia. With this research, we plan to meet the following goals: PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: * Determine the tolerability of incorporating bortezomib and vorinostat into an ALL chemotherapy backbone for newly diagnosed infants with ALL. SECONDARY OBJECTIVES: * Estimate the event-free survival and overall survival of infants with ALL who are treated with bortezomib and vorinostat in combination with an ALL chemotherapy backbone. * Measure minimal residual disease (MRD) positivity using both flow cytometry and PCR. * Compare end of induction, end of consolidation, and end of reinduction MRD levels to Interfant99 (ClinicalTrials.gov registration ID number NCT00015873) participant outcomes. The main aims of this 3-part study are as follows: Part 1: To determine any side effects from modakafusp alfa single treatment and how often they occur. The dose of modakafusp alfa will be increased a little at a time until the highest dose that does not cause harmful side effects is found. Part 2: To assess clinical activity of one or more dosing schedules of modakafusp alfa alone in participants with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. This randomized phase III trial studies how well netupitant/palonosetron hydrochloride and dexamethasone with prochlorperazine or olanzapine work compared to netupitant/palonosetron hydrochloride and dexamethasone in improving chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in patients with breast cancer. Antiemetic drugs, such as prochlorperazine and olanzapine, may help lessen nausea and vomiting in patients with breast cancer treated with chemotherapy. Read Less

In this research study, we are looking to explore the drug combination, lenalidomide, bortezomib and dexamethasone alone or when combined with autologous stem cell transplantation to see what side effects it may have and how well it works for treatment of newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. Specifically, the objective of this trial is to determine if, in the era of novel drugs, high dose therapy (HDT) is still necessary in the initial management of multiple myeloma in younger patients. In this study, HDT as compared to conventional dose treatment would be considered superior if it significantly prolongs progression-free survival by at least 9 months or more, recognizing that particular subgroups may benefit more compared to others.
