Multicenter Study on the Efficacy and Safety of OCS-01 in Subjects With Uveitis Related and Post Surgical Macular Edema
Active Not Recruiting
The goal of the LEOPARD clinical trial is to investigate a new kind of steroid eye drops, OCS-01. Macular edema is a condition in which there is collection of fluid (edema) in the back of the eye (Macula) and it can lead to severe loss of vision. Among other causes, macular edema can happen because of a disease of the eye called Uveitis, and also after eye surgery. Treatment of macular edema remains a challenge as the condition may persist for several months and may lead to irreversible changes... Read More

Palbociclib and Dexamethasone in Treating Participants With Relapsed or Refractory B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Completed
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of palbociclib when given together with dexamethasone in treating participants with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia that has come back after a period of improvement or does not respond to treatment. Palbociclib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Dexamethasone is a steroid medication that is used in combination with other medications to treat B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.... Read More

Testing the Use of Combination Immunotherapy Treatment (N-803 [ALT-803] Plus Pembrolizumab) Against the Usual Treatment for Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (A Lung-MAP Treatment Trial)
Active Not Recruiting
This phase II/III Lung-MAP trial studies how well immunotherapy treatment with N-803 (ALT-803) and pembrolizumab working in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to other places in the body (advanced). Natural killer cells, part of our immune system, are always on alert and ready to defend our bodies from many kinds of infection or rogue cells, such as those that cause cancer. N-803 (ALT-803) may activate natural killer cells so that they can stimulate an immune respo... Read More

Bendamustine Hydrochloride, Bortezomib, and Dexamethasone in Treating Patients With Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma
Completed
This phase II trial studies side effects and how well bendamustine hydrochloride, bortezomib, and dexamethasone work in treating patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as bendamustine hydrochloride and dexamethasone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed... Read More

The Effect of a Methylprednisolone Taper on Outcomes Following Total Knee Arthroplasty
Not Yet Recruiting
Pain control and early range of motion following total knee arthroplasty are essential for patient satisfaction. Intraoperative steroids (dexamethasone) have been shown to have a significant effect in controlling acute pain following total knee arthroplasty. This study aims to evaluate the effect of a post-operative steroid (methylprednisolone) taper in improving functional and patient-reported outcomes following total knee arthroplasty. A taper means taking a high dose of a medication followed... Read More
