Perioperative Steroid Dosing on the APR in AIS
Recruiting
The objective of this study is to perform a prospective, randomized controlled trial investigating the clinical usage of perioperative dexamethasone usage on APR activation, postoperative morphine usage, postoperative nausea, and hospital length of stay.
There will be a control control and a Dexamethasone cohort. Participants will be randomized into one of the two cohorts. Patients in the control group will receive one 8mg dose of dexamethasone intraoperatively as per standard of care anesthesi... Read More

The Efficacy of Liposomal Bupivacaine in Ultrasound Guided Supraclavicular Nerve Blocks for Hand and Wrist Surgery
Active Not Recruiting
Patients undergoing hand, wrist, and elbow surgery may experience pain after surgery. The orthopedic surgeon may provide prescription pain medications after surgery to assist with pain control. However, with concern of the opioid epidemic, many patients would rather minimize the use of narcotic pain prescriptions after having surgery. As an alternative, ultrasound guided regional nerve blocks can assist with postoperative pain control.

Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Young Patients With Newly Diagnosed T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia or T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma
Active Not Recruiting
This randomized phase III trial is studying different combination chemotherapy regimens and their side effects and comparing how well they work in treating young patients with newly diagnosed T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more cancer cells. It is no... Read More

Study Comparing Daratumumab, Lenalidomide, Bortezomib, and Dexamethasone (D-RVd) Versus Lenalidomide, Bortezomib, and Dexamethasone (RVd) in Subjects With Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma
Completed
The purpose of this study is to determine if the addition of daratumumab to lenalidomide-bortezomib-dexamethasone (RVd) will increase the proportion of participants achieving stringent complete response (sCR), as defined by the International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG) criteria, by the time of completion of post autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) consolidation treatment, compared with RVd alone.

Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone With or Without Thalidomide in Treating Patients With Multiple Myeloma
Active Not Recruiting
This randomized phase III trial studies lenalidomide and low-dose dexamethasone to see how well it works compared to lenalidomide and standard-dose dexamethasone, given with or without thalidomide, in treating patients with multiple myeloma. Biological therapies, such as lenalidomide, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Lenalidomide and thalidomide may also stop the growth of multiple myeloma by blocking blood flow to the cancer. Drugs used in ch... Read More

Isatuximab As Upfront Therapy for the Treatment of High Risk AL Amyloidosis
Active Not Recruiting
This phase I trial studies the side effects of isatuximab and to see how well it works in treating patients with high risk immunoglobulin light chain amyloidosis (AL amyloidosis). Isatuximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.

Combination Chemotherapy and Dasatinib in Treating Participants With Philadelphia Positive or BCR-ABL Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Completed
This phase II trial studies how well combination chemotherapy and dasatinib works in treating participants with Philadelphia-positive or B-cell receptor-ABL positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, dexamethasone, methotrexate, and cytarabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Study of Daratumumab Combined With Carfilzomib, Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone for Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma
Active Not Recruiting
This study is being done because, despite major advances in therapy, MM is still considered an incurable disease. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy (how well it works) of the study treatment that combines the following drugs: daratumumab, carfilzomib, lenalidomide, dexamethasone in subjects who have a recent diagnosis of multiple myeloma (MM). Normal plasma (blood) cells are found in the bone marrow and are an important part of the immune system. MM is a cancer formed by mal... Read More
