Carboplatin and Combination Chemotherapy With or Without Veliparib in Treating Patients With Stage IIB-IIIC Breast Cancer
Completed
This randomized phase II trial studies how well carboplatin and combination chemotherapy with or without veliparib works in treating patients with stage IIB-IIIC breast cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, carboplatin, doxorubicin hydrochloride, and cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Veliparib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell... Read More

Cisplatin vs Paclitaxel for Triple Negative Breast Cancer
Completed
This is a phase II study randomizing patients with stage I with T1 \> 1.5 cm, stage II or III triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) to preoperative cisplatin versus paclitaxel. The study is designed to evaluate the ability of the Homologous Recombination Deficiency (HRD) assay to predict pathologic response to preoperative chemotherapy.

Nivolumab, Carboplatin, and Paclitaxel in Treating Patients With Stage III-IV Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma That Can Be Removed by Surgery
Completed
This phase II trial studies how well nivolumab, carboplatin, and paclitaxel work in treating patients with stage III-IV head and neck squamous cell carcinoma that can be removed by surgery. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them... QUILT-3.010: A Study of Gemcitabine and Nab-paclitaxel With or Without NPC-1C to Treat Patients With Pancreatic Cancer
Terminated
This was a Phase 1/2 multi-institution prospective open label study in which subjects with metastatic, locally advanced unresectable or recurrent pancreatic cancer who previously received treatment with chemotherapy with FOLFIRINOX or FOLFIRINOX-like regimen received the investigational agent NEO-102 (NPC-1C). The Phase 1 portion of this study evaluated the safety of NEO-102 in combination with Gemcitabine in a dose de-escalation design with a starting dose of 1.5 mg/kg/dose. If 2 of 6 patients... CompassHER2-pCR: Decreasing Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer Patients After Pre-surgery Chemo and Targeted Therapy
Active Not Recruiting
This trial studies how well paclitaxel, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab work in eliminating further chemotherapy after surgery in patients with HER2-positive stage II-IIIa breast cancer who have no cancer remaining at surgery (either in the breast or underarm lymph nodes) after pre-operative chemotherapy and HER2-targeted therapy. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or b... Read More

Sonoporation and Chemotherapy for the Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer
Recruiting
This phase I/II trial studies the effect of sonoporation in addition to standard of care chemotherapy in treating patients with pancreatic cancer. Sonoporation is a novel method that uses ultrasound and microbubbles to increase therapeutic effect by increasing uptake or enhance sensitization. Sonoporation together with chemotherapy may work better in treating patients with pancreatic cancer compared to chemotherapy alone.
