Semaglutide is a medicine studied in patients with NASH. Semaglutide is a well-known medicine, which is already used by doctors to treat type 2 diabetes in many countries. Participants will either get semaglutide or a dummy medicine - which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Participants will need to inject themselves with medicine under the skin. Participants will need to do this once a week. The study will last for about 5 years. Participants will have up to 21 clinic visits and 9 phone calls with the clinical staff during the study. Some of the clinic visits may be spread over more than one day. Participants with other chronic liver diseases cannot take part in this study. The study will look at how well CagriSema helps people lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new weekly medicine that combines two medicines called semaglutide and cagrilintide. CagriSema will be compared to the two medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. CagriSema will also be compared to a "dummy" medicine without any active ingredient. This study is researching experimental drugs called trevogrumab and garetosmab (called "study drugs") in combination with another drug, semaglutide (Wegovy®). This study compares 2 medicines for type 2 diabetes: semaglutide (new medicine) and a dummy medicine (placebo). Semaglutide will be tested to see how well it works compared to the dummy medicine. The study will also test if semaglutide is safe in children and teenagers. Participants will either get semaglutide or the dummy medicine - which one is decided by chance. Participants will take 1 tablet of the study medicine every morning on an empty stomach. They have to wait 30 minutes before they eat, drink or take any other medication by mouth. Women cannot take part if pregnant, breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant during the study period. A cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) sub-study will be performed as a part of the study. The sub-study will be performed on a selection of sites based on their experience with CSF sampling and willingness to participate in this sub-study.
