In this study, semaglutide will be compared to placebo (a look-alike inactive substance, a "sugar pill") to determine if its use will prevent weight gain after liver transplantation (LT). In addition, researchers will be testing to determine if semaglutide prevents the development of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) after transplant through Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and laboratory results. The purpose of this study is to find out if PF-07081532 ("the active study drug"), is safe and helps treat people with obesity without diabetes to lose weight, and people with diabetes to keep their blood sugar in good control. Individuals diagnosed with diabetes that are on metformin or individuals with obesity without diabetes will be included in the study. Those participating in the diabetes part of the study, will receive either active study drug, placebo, or an approved treatment called Rybelsus. Those in the obesity part of the study, will receive either active study drug or placebo. The study will last for about 36 weeks except for the first 25% of the participants that enter in which case the study will last for approximately 48 weeks. during this time there will be visits every 4 weeks with phone calls in between. This study is being conducted to see if semaglutide tablets can be used as a treatment to help people living with overweight or obesity lose weight. This study will look at the change in participants body weight. Participants will either get semaglutide tablets (new medicine) or placebo tablets ('dummy' medicine that looks like semaglutide but has no effect on the body). For a fair comparison, people are divided into two groups at random by a computer. This process is called randomisation. Semaglutide tablets are new medicine being tested to treat overweight and obesity. Doctors in many countries can already prescribe semaglutide tablets at lower doses to treat type 2 diabetes. Participants will get semaglutide or placebo tablets for 68 weeks and will need to take 1 tablet every morning In addition to taking the medicine, participants will have talks with study staff about: * healthy food choices * how to be more physically active * what participants can do to lose weight The study will last for about 1½ year.Participants will have 14 clinic visits and 7 phone calls with the study doctor. Blood samples will be taken at 10 visits. Participants will have a test to check their heart done at 3 visits. Women cannot take part if pregnant, breast-feeding or plan to get pregnant during the study period. The main purpose of this study is to compare the effects of semaglutide (Ozempic®) with the effects of other treatments for type 2 diabetes in a normal practice setting. The participant will be assigned by chance (like flipping a coin) to one of the following treatment groups: Group 1: semaglutide (Ozempic®) (by injection into skin) Group 2: standard of care antidiabetic medication (oral or injectable). The participant has an equal chance of being in either of the treatment groups. Neither the participant nor the study doctor or study staff will be able to pick which group the participant is in, but the participant will know which study drug the participant has been assigned to. Semaglutide is a medicine studied in patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), as it may improve liver damage. Participants will either get semaglutide or placebo (a dummy medicine) - which treatment participants get is decided by chance. The study will last for about 61 weeks in total. Participants will have 10 clinic visits and 3 phone calls with the study doctor or staff during the study. Some of the clinic visits may be spread over more days. Participants will need to inject themselves with medicine under the skin. Participants will have to do this once a week for 48 weeks. The study includes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of the liver, 1 or 2 liver tissue samples, ultrasound scans of the stomach and a possible examination of the food pipe. For some tests participants may need to remove some items of clothing. Participants will stop in the study if the doctor thinks that there are any risks for their health. The information collected from participants during the study may help them and other patients with NASH in the future. The study medicine is injected with a thin needle in a skin fold in the stomach, thigh or upper arm. The study will last for about 2 years. This is to compare the effect on body weight in people taking semaglutide once a week or people taking liraglutide once every day. Participants will either get semaglutide, liraglutide or "dummy" medicine. Which treatment is decided by chance. Participants who receive semaglutide or semaglutide "dummy" medicine will need to take 1 injection once a week. Participants who receive liraglutide or liraglutide "dummy" medicine will need to take 1 injection once daily. During the study participants will have talks with study staff about eating healthy food and how to be more physically active. Participants will have 16 clinic visits and 7 phone calls with the study doctor. At 4 of the clinic visits participants cannot eat and drink (water is allowed) for 8 hours before the visit.
