Vaccine Therapy in Treating Patients With HER2-Negative Stage III-IV Breast Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of multiantigen deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) plasmid-based vaccine in treating patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative stage III-IV breast cancer. Multiantigen DNA plasmid-based vaccine may target immunogenic proteins expressed in breast cancer stem cells which are the component of breast cancer that is resistant to chemotherapy and has the ability to spread. Vaccines made from DNA may help the body build an... Read More

A Multiple Antigen Vaccine (STEMVAC) for the Treatment of Patients With Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
This phase II trial tests whether CD105/Yb-1/SOX2/CDH3/MDM2-polyepitope plasmid DNA vaccine (STEMVAC) works to shrink tumors in patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. STEMVAC targets specific immunogenic proteins that help lung cancer cells to grow. STEMVAC is made up of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), which is a natural substance in every living organism. DNA acts like a blueprint that tells all the cells in your body how to function. The DNA used in this study contains instructions fo... Read More

A Vaccine (STEMVAC) With Standard Endocrine-Based Therapy or Chemotherapy for the Treatment of Metastatic Hormone Receptor Positive, HER2 Negative Breast Cancer
Not Yet Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well a vaccine, STEMVAC, works in combination with standard endocrine-based therapy (ET) or chemotherapy (CDK4/6 inhibitor or capecitabine) in treating patients with hormone receptor (HR) positive, HER2 negative breast cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). STEMVAC is designed to target proteins that are expressed on breast cancer stem cells, and it is believed to work by boosting the immune syst... Read More

COVID-19 Booster Vaccine in Autoimmune Disease Non-Responders
Terminated
This is a randomized, multi-site, adaptive, open-label clinical trial comparing the immune response to different additional doses of COVID-19 vaccine in participants with autoimmune disease requiring IS medications. All study participants will have negative serologic or suboptimal responses (defined as a Roche Elecsys® Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S result ≤200 U/mL) or a low immune response (defined as a Roche Elecsys® Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S result \>200 U/ml and ≤2500 U/mL) to their previous doses of COVID-19 v... Concurrent WOKVAC Vaccination, Chemotherapy, and HER2-Targeted Monoclonal Antibody Therapy Before Surgery for the Treatment of Patients With Breast Cancer
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies the immunologic response and side effects of using the WOKVAC vaccine in combination with chemotherapy and HER2-targeted monoclonal antibody therapy before surgery in treating patients with breast cancer. Vaccines like WOKVAC are made from tumor-associated antigens which may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Chemotherapy drugs, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells,... Read More

A Cancer Vaccine (STEMVAC) in Combination With Chemotherapy for the Treatment of PD-L1 Negative Metastatic Triple-Negative Breast Cancer
Not Yet Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well a cancer vaccine called STEMVAC works in combination with chemotherapy in treating patients with PD-L1 negative, triple-negative breast cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). STEMVAC is designed to target proteins that are expressed on breast cancer stem cells, and it is believed to work by boosting the immune system to recognize and destroy the invader tumor cells that are causing the disea...
