The state of Washington currently has 18 active clinical trials seeking participants for Arthritis research studies. These trials are conducted in various cities, including Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma and Bellevue.
MDR - PMCF Study for Taperloc Complete Stems
Recruiting
The objective of this consecutive series PMCF study is to collect data confirming safety, performance, and clinical benefits of the Taperloc Complete stems when used for primary or revision total hip arthroplasty (implants) at 1,3,5,7 and 10-year follow-up\*. Since Taperloc Complete was introduced to the EU in 2010, all available retrospective data will be collected from each patient and a prospective aspect to the study will be necessary to reach the 10-year time point.

A Prospective Total Joint Surgery Registry to Monitor Short- and Long-Term Clinical Outcomes
Recruiting
The investigators propose a prospective longitudinal registry study to collect and compare preoperative and postoperative information from patients who undergo total joint arthroplasty (TJA). Outcomes will be assessed with common, routinely available patient-reported outcomes measures (PROM's) such as the HOOS Jr., Oxford score, Knee Society Score, Harris Hip Score, and other patient satisfaction and function assessments in use in Orthopedics.

Biologic Abatement and Capturing Kids' Outcomes and Flare Frequency in Juvenile Spondyloarthritis
Recruiting
This randomized pragmatic trial will generate knowledge about strategies used to de-escalate tumor necrosis factor inhibitor (TNFi) therapy in patients with juvenile spondyloarthritis with sustained inactive disease and are treated at one of the 29 participating pediatric healthcare systems. This open label study will be conducted in the setting of routine clinical care and will compare the risk and timing of flare (Aim 1) and patients' lived experiences (Aim 2) across three arms.

Non-Surgical Management of Knee Osteoarthritis in the Military Health System (MHS)
Recruiting
This study will compare two different treatment approaches for the management of knee osteoarthritis (OA). All subjects will receive a standardized approach consistent with the core set of recommendation from the Department of Defense (DoD) and Veterans Administration (VA) Clinical Practice Guidelines for Non-Surgical Management of Knee Osteoarthritis. Follow-up will occur over a 1 year period.

The Effect of Guided Care With Vectra Compared to Treatment as Usual in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis
Recruiting
The goal of treating patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is to achieve remission or low disease activity and thereby prevent joint damage, loss of physical function, and disability. Optimal management requires regular assessment of disease activity, with treatment changes made as needed for optimal efficacy. Vectra is a blood serum test that looks at 12 biomarkers and produces a score on a scale of 1 to 100. The Vectra score has been shown to be the strongest predictor of risk for... Read More
