Study of Chemotherapy, With or Without Binimetinib in Advanced Biliary Tract Cancers in 2nd Line Setting (A ComboMATCH Treatment Trial)
Recruiting
This phase II ComboMATCH treatment trial compares the usual treatment of modified leucovorin, fluorouracil and oxaliplatin (mFOLFOX6) chemotherapy to using binimetinib plus mFOLFOX6 chemotherapy to shrink tumors in patients with biliary tract cancers that have spread to other places in the body (advanced) and had progression of cancer after previous treatments (2nd line setting). Fluorouracil is in a class of medications called antimetabolites. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cance... Read More

Cell Therapy (STEAP1 CART) With Enzalutamide for the Treatment of Patients With Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
This phase I/II trial tests the safety and effectiveness of cell therapy (STEAP1 CART) with enzalutamide in treating patients with prostate cancer that continues to grow despite surgical or medical treatments to block androgen production (castration-resistant) and that has spread from where it first started (the prostate) to other places in the body (metastatic). Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in men. Localized prostate cancer is often curable and even metastatic di... Read More

Biorepository in Participants Who Undergo OTC for Gonadotoxic Therapy
Recruiting
Background: Medical advances have improved survival rates for many cancers and other illnesses. This means that more people are coping with the long-term effects of these treatments. Some treatments can cause female infertility. Ovarian tissue cryopreservation (OTC) may help. Before undergoing a treatment that may damage their fertility, patients may opt to freeze a sample of ovarian tissue. The tissue contains immature egg cells. When thawed, the tissue can be reimplanted. This procedure can h... Read More

Testing the Use of the Combination of Selumetinib and Olaparib or Selumetinib Alone Targeted Treatment for RAS Pathway Mutant Recurrent or Persistent Ovarian and Endometrial Cancers, A ComboMATCH Treatment Trial
Recruiting
This phase II ComboMATCH treatment trial compares selumetinib plus olaparib to selumetinib alone in women with endometrial or ovarian (fallopian tube and primary peritoneal) cancer that has come back (recurrent) or that remains despite treatment (persistent) and harbors a mutation in the RAS pathway. Selumetinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Olaparib is an inhibitor of PARP, an enzyme that helps repair deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) when... Read More

A Study Comparing a Plant-Based Diet With Supplements and Placebo in People With Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance (MGUS) or Smoldering Multiple Myeloma (SMM)
Recruiting
The researchers are doing this study to look at how butyrate levels change in participants' stool after they are on a- plant-based diet for at least 12 weeks. All participants will have monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) or smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM). We will compare how the plant-based diet, omega-3 fatty acid and curcumin supplements, and placebo (an inactive substance that looks like the study supplements) affect butyrate levels in participants' stool.

A Study to Test How Well Different Doses of BI 764532 Are Tolerated by People With a Tumour in the Brain That is Positive for DLL3
Recruiting
This study (1438-0003) is open to adults with a tumour in the brain that is positive for the tumour marker delta-like 3 (DLL3). This study is in people with advanced cancer for whom previous treatment was not successful. The purpose of this study is to find out the highest dose of BI 764532 that people with a brain tumour that is positive for DLL3 can tolerate. BI 764532 is an antibody-like molecule that can attach and link together the cancer cells and T-cells of the immune system (DLL3/CD3 bi... Read More

Osteoarthritis (OA) and inflammatory conditions of the tendons and joints of the shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist are common yet disabling diseases. Standard management utilizes conservative measures to minimize pain and improve function. Conservative pharmacological management commonly includes corticosteroid and ketorolac injections which have been well investigated as a modality of pain control and improved function in large joint OA. However, fewer studies yielding mixed results on the durat... Read More
