The goal of this clinical trial is to learn whether for intermediate-risk patients who have undergone Transoral Robotic Surgery for HPV/p16(+) oropharyngeal cancer and have minimal smoking history, whether these patients can be treated with a lower-than standard dose, with omission of the primary site in the oropharynx. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does radiotherapy site and dose-de-escalation lead to similar outcomes compared to historical data on tumor control in patients who are treated with standard radiation doses and treatment fields? Participants will: Undergo treatment with a lower than standard radiation dose (50Gy in 25 fractions, with either Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) or proton beam therapy) and to a smaller than standard radiation field (to the neck only, excluding the original site of tumor in the oropharynx) Read Less

XLMTM (X-linked myotubular myopathy) is a serious genetic muscle condition. It is caused by changes in the MTM1 gene which stops or slows down normal muscle development, causing severe muscle weakness. There is currently no cure for XLMTM. Ongoing care is needed to manage symptoms and prevent further medical problems from this condition. Recent research shows that individuals with XLMTM often have reduced bile flow which can affect liver and gallbladder health. Bile is a liquid made in the liver that helps digest fat. Ongoing liver health checks may help with the routine care of people with XLMTM. There is a need to understand liver problems that develop in individuals with XLMTM over time. The main aim of the study is to learn how many boys with XLMTM have new cases of liver problems during the study. This study is about collecting information only. This is known as an observational study. The individual's doctor decides on treatment, not the study sponsor (Astellas). In this study, boys under 18 diagnosed with XLMTM will be followed for about 1 year. The health of their liver and gallbladder will be checked about every 6 weeks. This can be done at home, if preferred. A scan called a Fibroscan (also known as transient elastography) will check for signs of scarring in the liver (fibrosis) and the build-up of lipids. It is suggested that each boy will have a Fibroscan when they start the study and another scan when they complete the study. This study will help understand liver, gallbladder, and bile duct issues in individuals with XLMTM over time. U.S. epidemiological data indicates that Black women are a high-risk HIV disparity group, yet initiation of novel prevention strategies like pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among this group is stagnant. Socio-structural challenges like intimate partner violence and gendered racism can constrain PrEP access among Black women, but few implementation studies have mitigated these challenges to improve PrEP initiation. The goal of this observational study is to learn about the performance and ease of use of FebriDx when operated by persons without laboratory experience or training in patients with acute respiratory symptoms. The main question it aims to answer is: • Is FebriDx accurate at differentiating bacterial from non-bacterial respiratory infections when used by untrained operators? The goal of this study is to compare two different approaches to help families with children 6-11 years enhance nighttime sleep: 1) working one-on-one with a nurse to learn effective behavioral strategies to try to improve children's sleep or 2) receiving education on a good night's sleep and its benefits. Participating families will meet with a nurse 6 times or receive 6 educational handouts. Participating families will also complete three assessments (start of the study, 2 months and 6 months) during which study questionnaires will be completed, participating children will wear devices that assess sleep and physical activity, participating families will report on what the child ate on two separate days and will be measured for height and weight. The goal of this study is to learn if Pain Self-Management (PSM) can improve chronic pain care in individuals with opioid misuse or opioid use disorder (OUD) The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does PSM help participants manage their chronic pain more effectively? * Does PSM help participants engage in treatment for opioid use? Researchers will compare PSM to standard care to see if PSM is effective in managing chronic pain and engagement in treatment. Participants will: * Take part in the PSM program or receive standard care for 12 weeks after enrolling in the study * Complete surveys every 3 months for 9 months (total of 4 visits) Participants will receive compensation for participating in the study. If science is to inform effective substance misuse prevention policy and ultimately improve public health, the field needs an effective strategy for directly supporting policymakers' use of research evidence, yet our field lacks an evidence-based model designed for this purpose. Accordingly, a state-level randomized controlled trial (N = 30 states) of a formal, theory-based approach for appropriately supporting policymakers' use of scientific evidence--known as the Research-to-Policy Collaboration (RPC) Model is proposed. This work has the potential to reduce population-level substance misuse by improving the use of scientific information in policymaking, thus increasing the availability of evidence-based prevention programs and policies.
