Vedolizumab for the Treatment of Collagenous Gastritis
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about how vedolizumab may affect patients with collagenous gastritis (CG). The main questions it aims to answer are: * Whether vedolizumab can reduce CG symptoms * Whether vedolizumab is safe to take for patients with CG Participants in this study will: * Receive vedolizumab through an IV ("infusion") * Complete a survey at each infusion visit * Have blood collected at each infusion visit * Undergo an endoscopy with biopsy at 2 timepoints

Diabetes RElated to Acute Pancreatitis and Its Mechanisms: Metabolic Outcomes Using Novel CGM Metrics
Recruiting
The DREAM-ON study will investigate whether continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is useful to predict risk for developing diabetes mellitus (DM) and pre-diabetes mellitus (PDM), the need for insulin therapy among those who develop DM, and to determine whether CGM can provide insight into the pathophysiology and DM subtype among participants who have experienced an episode of acute pancreatitis (AP). Thus, the results of the DREAM-ON study could inform future clinical practice guidelines for the m... Read More

Testing the Impact of Thrive App Versions on Alcohol Use and Posttraumatic Stress After Recent Sexual Assault
Recruiting
The goal of this study is to find the most effective and efficient version of the THRIVE app. The THRIVE app is the first app-based preventative intervention that has been found to reduce alcohol misuse and posttraumatic stress in people who have recently experienced sexual assault. In this trial, participants are randomly assigned to receive different versions of the THRIVE app to compare their impact. The THRIVE app is currently only available to participants in this study.

Identifying Oxytocin Deficiency in Adults With Pituitary Disease
Recruiting
This is an open-label, pilot study, to characterize oxytocin response to a single dose of oral Estrogen-progestin in patients with arginine-vasopressin deficiency compared to healthy controls. The association between oxytocin levels and measures of psychopathology (i.e., anxiety and depression) and quality of life across groups will be examined. We hypothesize that: 1. Salivary and blood oxytocin response to Estrogen-progestin will be lower in arginine-vasopressin deficiency compared to healthy... Read More

Study to Understand Novel Biomarkers in Researching Dementia
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationships between amyloid, tau, and neurodegeneration biomarkers in the blood and the presence of Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathology, clinical cognitive decline, and diagnosis. We aim to understand how well blood-based biomarkers can diagnose and predict Alzheimer's disease, which will help to further develop and validate blood tests for the disease.

Effect of Adding Glycerol to Electrolyte Beverages on Fluid Balance in Healthy Euhydrated Men and Women at Rest
Recruiting
The results of a prior study PEP-2311 suggested there was a positive dose-response effect of glycerol and sodium on fluid balance and fluid retention. In addition, inclusion of glycerol resulted in an upward shift in the relationship between sodium concentration and fluid balance. The practical interpretation is that addition of glycerol enables a reduction in sodium concentration compared with a 0% glycerol drink. In this follow-up study, the investigators hypothesize that 1) fluid balance wil... Read More
