The goal of this clinical trial is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the full visual range AT ELANA 841P IOL when used to treat adult patients having cataract surgery. Subjects will be randomly selected to receive a pair of IOLs, either the AT ELANA 841P or CT LUCIA 621P lens design. All patients will undergo surgery in both eyes, and they will receive follow up care for up to 6-months. During this time, all patients will undergo thorough eye exams at every study visit and complete questionnaires about their quality of vision post-surgery. Read Less

Hypothesis: Will the use of tDCS brain modulation in the cerebellum assist in restricted behaviors, social cognition and cognitive flexibility in women with anorexia nervosa in addition to other therapies? Primary Outcomes: 1. To observe the impacts and outcomes of cerebellar transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on social behaviors measured by Cyberball and Trust Game. 2. To observe the neuropsychological impacts of cerebellar tDCS through fMRI imaging as well as looking at the Region of Interest (ROI) of changes in the Default Mode Network and Cerebellum circuits and their activation levels in those networks. Secondary Outcomes: 1.To observe the impacts and outcome of cerebellar transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) measuring the differences between anodal and cathodal stimulation. To observe potential increases in responses to social stimuli, decreases in eating disorder/depressive symptomology via cathodal stimulation. To also observe potential little to no changes in social stimuli and eating disorder/depressive symptomology via anodal stimulation. Read Less

In the effort to reduce postoperative opioid use, there has been increasing interest in developing multimodal pain regimens to better manage postoperative pain while minimizing opioid use and their subsequent side effects that can be detrimental to the healing process. Standard of care approaches to better manage postoperative pain include the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol and the use of peripheral and truncal nerve blocks. Truncal nerve blocks are widely used as an additional modality to provide longer lasting postoperative analgesia and have been adopted as part of the standard of care. The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the effects of ERAS alone versus the quadratus lumborum (QL) nerve block on the postoperative pain experience for women with pelvic organ prolapse undergoing robotic assisted sacrocolpopexy. Subjects will be randomized to the ERAS protocol or the QL block. The main questions the study aims to answer are: 1) does the QL block decrease patient reported pain scores postoperatively; and 2) does the QL block decrease the amount of opioid pain medications in the immediate postoperative period? The primary outcome measure will be median patient reported pain score in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) following surgery. Read Less

The e-OPRA Implant System, is a further development of the OPRA (Osseointegrated Prostheses for the Rehabilitation of Amputees) Implant System. The e-OPRA Implant system is an implant system for direct skeletal anchorage of amputation prostheses. The added feature in the e-OPRA Implant system, is a bidirectional interface into the human body that allows permanent and reliable communication using implanted electrodes. These electrodes will provide long-term stable bioelectric signals for an improved control of the prosthetic limb. The Magnetic Bead Tracking System, which will be implanted and used in combination with the e-OPRA Implant system, is an investigational device that consists of pairs of magnetic beads, and a set of magnetic field sensors that measure and track the length of muscles and the speed at which they move in real-time. When the beads are implanted in muscle in the residual limb of an amputee, the muscle length signal is communicated to an investigational, robotic ankle-foot prosthesis. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the feasibility of a transtibial amputee with the e-OPRA Implant System and Magnetic Bead Tracking System exhibiting full neural control over a neuro-mechanical prosthetic system. A maximum of seven subjects will be enrolled. Each subject will undergo one or more surgeries where the e-OPRA Implant System and Magnetic Bead Tracking System will be implanted. Apimostinel shows initial promise as a novel rapid-acting antidepressant medication with minimal side effects or safety concerns. Cognitive Training (CT) is a digital intervention that has shown promise in extending the durability of another similar drug (ketamine). This randomized controlled trial will test the efficacy and safety of apimostinel (vs. placebo) for the acute treatment of depression, and will test the potential of CT to enhance and/or extend the durability of apimostinel's antidepressant effect. The goal of this laboratory study is to establish whether and which microdoses of psilocybin are safe to administer at home to healthy participants. Eligible participants will be given ascending doses of psilocybin trihydrate and a single, interspersed, randomized placebo on separate days in double-blind fashion. The train-of-four (TOF) ratio is a quantitative measure used in anesthesia to assess the degree of neuromuscular blockade induced by neuromuscular blocking agents during surgical procedures. Current American Society of Anesthesiologists guidelines recommend monitoring the TOF ratio to guide the administration and reversal of NMBAs, with a target ratio of 0.9 or higher at adductor pollicis muscle indicating adequate reversal and restoration of neuromuscular function. This proposed study aims to observe and compare the TOF ratio between two different muscles of the hand: adductor pollicis and adductor digiti minim using anesthesia monitors on both of their arms during recovery of neuromuscular function. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if serial PSMA-PET/CT scans can be used to monitor response to therapy in metastatic hormone sensitive prostate cancer and can be potentially used to optimize future treatment approaches. The main questions it aims to answer are: What is the proportion of men with residual PSMA-avid disease on PET/CT scans after 6 months of treatment for metastatic hormone sensitive prostate cancer? Do the findings on PSMA-PET/CT scans after 6 months of treatment for metastatic hormone sensitive prostate cancer correlate with other markers of disease status, like PSA? Participants will: Receive standard of care treatment for metastatic hormone sensitive prostate cancer Undergo a PSMA-PET/CT scan before starting treatment Undergo a PSMA-PET/CT scan after 6 months of treatment Have a chart review every 3 months for 1 year after the 6 month PSMA-PET/CT scan Read Less

The study will develop and test a behavioral program for pregnant individuals with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This behavioral program will include skills for managing ADHD and related symptoms during pregnancy and after delivery and will be taught by a behavioral therapist in OB care settings. Read Less
