Biomolecular Characteristics of Reminder-Focused Positive-Psychiatry
Recruiting
Objective: Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a prevalent neuropsychiatric disorder in children and is associated with increased neurovascular inflammation, suicidality, adulthood mental health disorder, and major adverse events. Reminder focused positive psychiatry (RFPP) has been shown as well tolerated feasible trauma focused intervention that is associated with improved core PTSD symptoms, decreased severity of reactivity to PTSD trauma reminders, and increased vascular function. This s... Read More

Cabozantinib in Patients With Metastatic Castrate Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC)
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to determine what effects (good and bad) cabozantinib has in treatment of patients with metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). The hypothesis for this trial is that cabozantinib has anti-tumor activity in a molecularly-selected group of patients with CRPC or patients with liver metastases.

Understanding Poor Vaccine Responses to Hepatitis B Vaccination
Recruiting
Vaccines have prevented countless infections but poor vaccine responses remain a major challenge in many scenarios. Hepatitis B vaccine nonresponses are common but immunologically not well-understood. This study aims to study the immunology of hepatitis B vaccine responses by comparing traditional HBV vaccine, which is associated with nonresponses in some patients, to CpG-adjuvanted HBV vaccine, which is associated with far fewer rates of nonresponses. This research will build upon prior studie... Read More

A Study of BTX-A51 in People With Advanced Solid Tumor and Breast Cancer
Recruiting
This is a multicenter, open label, nonrandomized, sequential dose escalation/dose ranging, multiple dose study designed to evaluate the safety, toxicity, and PK as well as preliminary efficacy of BTX-A51 alone and in combination with fulvestrant in subjects with advanced solid tumors. The study will be done in three phases, described below. Phase 1a (Dose Escalation Phase): The Phase 1a portion is designed to determine the dose limiting toxicities (DLTs), maximum tolerated dose (MTD), and reco... Read More

Bright Ideas - CIN Feasibility Study
Recruiting
In this study investigators will determine the feasibility of a future trial comparing chemotherapy-induced nausea control in children with ALL receiving oral 6-mercaptopurine who do and do not receive problem-solving skill training. This is a novel approach to controlling an important and common treatment-related symptom.

Optimizing Tobacco Treatment Delivery for People Living With HIV
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to conduct a randomized trial to evaluate a proactive, opt-out model of provider contact to deliver smoking cessation support for people living with HIV compared to standard care support delivered through traditional clinic pathways. Investigators will also evaluate implementation outcomes to identify barriers and facilitators towards future implementation. Investigators hope to define best practices and optimize the delivery of smoking cessation interventions for pe... Read More

Binimetinib and Encorafenib for the Treatment of Metastatic Melanoma and Central Nervous System Metastases
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies the effects of binimetinib and encorafenib in treating patients with melanoma that has spread to the central nervous system (metastases). Binimetinib and encorafenib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving binimetinib and encorafenib may help control melanoma that has spread to the brain.

Thoracic Neuromodulation for Diabetic Gastroparesis
Recruiting
The global incidence of diabetes is rising. Gastroparesis is a significant complication of diabetes that results in debilitating symptoms and affects quality of life. Current treatment options for diabetic gastroparesis are limited. Significant visceral afferent neuropathy is associated with diabetic gastroparesis and sympathetic overactivity is seen in nausea, both type 1 and 2 diabetes, and diabetic complications. These dysfunctions can result from neuropathy affecting the thoracic spinal nerv... Read More

Use of Nasal Nitric Oxide Testing in Improving Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Clinical Care
Recruiting
this study is aiming at learning more about primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) and tests that are used to diagnose this condition. One purpose of this study is to measure the level of nitric oxide in the nasal passages and examine how often the results correlate with other tests currently done to make the diagnosis.

Testing a Novel Smartphone Application for Smoking Cessation With the Oklahoma Helpline
Recruiting
Over 470,000 tobacco users have been served by the Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline (OTH). The OTH reaches a substantial number of smokers each year, but follow-up rates are notoriously low and many smokers may prefer smartphone-based smoking cessation interventions rather than web- or phone-based OTH programming (e.g., counseling). Highly flexible and low burden technology-based treatment approaches may overcome barriers that have limited the use and effectiveness of traditional smoking cessation trea... Read More
