This is a Phase I, open-label dose finding study to assess the safety, tolerability, manufacturing feasibility, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy of TmCD19-IL18 CAR T cells in patients with CD19+ cancers. This study will take place in two parts: a Dose-Finding Phase to determine the maximum tolerate dose (MTD), followed by a Dose Expansion Phase. In the Dose-Finding Phase, up to 4 total dose levels will be evaluated using a 3+3 dose escalation design in order to determine the MTD (as defined below). The purpose of the present study is to examine the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of cannabigerol (CBG; CHI-914), a naturally occurring chemical constituent of the cannabis plant formulated for oral consumption, in healthy adults. The study will utilize a within-subjects, placebo-controlled, double-blind, ascending-dose design.Upon enrollment, participants will complete 5 oral dosing conditions (placebo, 25, 50, 100, and 200 mg CBG). Each condition will consist of a single acute drug exposure, followed by an 8-hour period to evaluate acute pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic drug effects. This is a single-site prospective study to describe efficacy endpoints of single agent memantine in patients with unresectable, locally advanced, or metastatic HCC otherwise not deemed candidates for intensive systemic therapy. The ability to judge the locations of various objects from oneself during self-motion in the intermediate distance range (\~2-25m) is crucial for successful performance of activities of daily living, such as walking and driving. However, little is known about the mechanisms of visual space perception involved in judging distance, the focus of this project, in the planning and/or execution of self-motion in the natural 3D environment. The theoretical knowledge to be gained from this project will contribute to the scientific literature and provide insights into how eye and neurological defects could impair visual space perception, wayfinding, and mobility. This research is being done to investigate the safety and effectiveness of Darzalex Faspro (daratumumab and hyaluronidase-fihj) (a monoclonal antibody that targets plasma cells that make antibodies) and whether it can lower donor specific antibodies (DSA) levels to low enough levels to permit patients to proceed with allogeneic peripheral blood transplant (alloBMT). Those being asked to participate have high DSA levels that puts those being asked to participate at high risk of rejecting the available donor's blood stem cells and making those being asked to participate ineligible to receive a stem cell transplant. The primary objective of this study is to demonstrate a significant difference in electrical impedance between normal, benign, premalignant, and malignant oral lesions using a custom device. The secondary study objective is to create a database of in vivo electrical impedance spectra and images of oral lesions. This will be achieved by collecting Electrical Impedance sensing data and images from two cohorts of patients: Cohort I will consist of 200 patients undergoing oral lesion biopsies and Cohort II will be comprised of 50 patients scheduled for oral cancer resection. A maximum of 5 additional subjects will be initially enrolled in each Cohort to optimize data acquisition. Read Less

The proposed multi-site, Genetics and Aerobic Exercise to Slow PD (GEARS) Trial will, for the first time, determine the interplay between genetics and exercise in altering PD progression. In sum, 200 PD patients will be recruited from the Cleveland and Salt Lake City metro areas to participate in the Pedaling for Parkinson's (PFP) community-based exercise program. Participants will exercise at community-based sites 3x/week for 12 months. All participants will undergo genotyping using an array that includes the genome backbone and common risk variants associated to increase risk for multiple neurological disorders including PD.
