Thought-Action-Fusion (TAF) is a cognitive bias that posits (1) having unwanted thoughts is morally equivalent to acting upon the thoughts (TAF-Moral; e.g., "Thinking about harming a child is as immoral as actually harming a child") and (2) having unwanted thoughts will increase the likelihood of the thoughts happening in real life (TAF-Likelihood; e.g., "My mother will get into a car accident, because I thought about it"). Given its central role in the development and maintenance of OCD, TAF has emerged as a potential treatment target for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Previous research has demonstrated that TAF is indeed a malleable construct. Feeding advancements in ELBW infants have evolved over decades. The fear of causing mortality and morbidity, notably NEC, have made providers cautious when advancing feeds. ELBW infants initially remained NPO for several days before initiating trophic feeds. However, data then showed that there was no increase in mortality and morbidity if trophic feeds were initiated earlier. Then data showed that a short duration of trophic feeds did not increase mortality and morbidity when compared to a prolonged duration. More recent data showed that enteral feeding should be initiated early, preferably within 24 hours of birth, because it may promote feeding tolerance, shorten the time to reach total enteral feeding, and reduce the incidence of extrauterine growth restriction and late onset sepsis without increasing the risk of developing NEC. The management of enteral nutrition in ELBW infants is still very variable. For example, there is no consensus on the optimal time point after birth at which enteral nutrition can be started. This study evaluates the benefits of starting feeds by 6 hours of life Purpose: The primary aim of this study is to evaluate if in infants ≤ 1000g birth weight, is there a benefit initiating feeds by 6 hours of life (compared to current feeding practice data of 3 days of life) on decreasing the time to attain full feeds in the first 30 days of life. The goal of this study is to improve how we teach self-control and communication skills to children and adolescents with challenging behaviors. Researchers aim to find ways to make behavior-change treatments more effective and long-lasting, even when the environment or reinforcement schedules change. The main questions this study will answer are: Can innovative techniques help children maintain learned skills, such as asking for attention or waiting for rewards, when faced with new people, places, or situations? How do cognitive and behavioral factors, like memory, timing, and decision-making, affect the success of treatments? Participants in this study will: Complete assessments to identify preferred activities and understand the causes of challenging behaviors. Learn communication skills to replace challenging behaviors, such as tantrums or crying, with more appropriate actions like asking for attention. The goal of this real world efficacy study is to understand the benefit of universal social needs screening, community-based service referrals, and telephonic follow-up as a scalable strategy for preventing COVID-19 transmission, and for addressing the secondary health effects of the social, behavioral, and economic changes following the COVID-19 pandemic. With statewide community service providers, existing health information technology, and piloted methods, we seek to determine the effectiveness of universal social needs screening and community service referrals - the SINCERE intervention - in improving health outcomes of COVID-19 vulnerable and socioeconomically disadvantaged populations and whether intensive follow-up and collaborative goal-setting helps overcome barriers to community service use by patients seen in the emergency department and seeking COVID testing at community-based and mobile clinic locations. Currently, optical and pharmacological interventions have been developed to prevent the progression of childhood myopia. However, no myopia control strategy has been shown to have complete efficacy in controlling myopia progression in children. One possible reason is that risk factors contributing to the development of myopia were not controlled in previous clinical studies including time outdoors and near vision behaviour. This study aims to quantify time spent outdoors and near vision behavior in myopic children and its impact on myopia control efficacy. The investigators are conducting this research study is to evaluate the feasibility (recruitment, compliance, safety, and acceptance) of using electroacupuncture (EA) to manage complex symptoms such as pain, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, and insomnia in patients who have undergone Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy.
