This descriptive study aims to evaluate the experience of adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma receiving standard of care isatuximab-irfc through collection of quantitative, qualitative and wearable data. Fifty adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma receiving standard of care isatuximab-irfc will be enrolled across 2 sites, The University of California San Francisco and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Consented participants will be enrolled in a 3-month digital health coaching program through which electronic patient reported outcomes and wearable activity data will be collected. Outcomes include treatment experience, quality of life, financial toxicity, treatment adherence, symptom burden and health self-efficacy. These will be captured by patient reported outcome measures including the Patient's Qualitative Assessment of Treatment- Real World (PQAT-RW), Patient Global Impression of Change/Severity (PGIC/S), European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire (EORTC-QLQ-C30), Quality of Life Questionnaire Multiple Myeloma (QLQ-MY20), and the European QoL-5 Dimensions (EQ5D), Cancer Behavior Inventory-Brief Form (CBI-B), Center for Adherence Support Evaluation (CASE) Medication Adherence Index, Comprehensive Score for Financial Toxicity (COST) Instrument. Clinical data, including treatment history, healthcare utilization, and co-morbidities, as well as demographic data will be collected via the electronic health record from each clinical site. This data will be complemented by qualitative data from a selected cohort of study participants with a focus on treatment experience ranging from infusion burden, toxicity management, to overall quality of life. Evaluation of this data in combination will be used to better understand the treatment experience of individuals on standard of care isatuximab-irfc specifically, and with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma generally, contributing to an existing gap in the literature regarding patient reported outcomes from diverse data sources. Outcomes will be analyzed with attention to the relationship between social determinants of health, including race, ethnicity, and geographic location, and treatment experience as reflected in both the qualitative and quantitative data. The purpose of this study is to test whether yoga can reduce nerve pain caused by cancer treatment (chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, or CIPN). Participants will take one of three approaches: * Yoga classes * Educational sessions on the causes and impacts of CIPN, how yoga may help with CIPN, and how different therapies may help with CIPN * Usual care with standard-of-care medications for CIPN The researchers will compare how these different approaches affect participants' balance, their risk of falls, and their quality of life. This study will also measure how much yoga can help the reduced sense of touch caused by CIPN. The functional assessments TUG and CTS can be safely completed either virtually and in-person and will be mandatory for all patients. The investigators plan to investigate the efficacy of blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy in post operative rehabilitation following hip arthroscopy. BFR has shown to be great at helping the recovery process. SAGA is a well-known smart training technology company, and the investigators aim to partner with SAGA to use the BFR cuffs as the intervention method. The BFR cuff will be added to the current SOC for hip scope PT for the intervention group. Read Less

This study intends to explore feasibility, acceptability, and outcomes related to the use of a digital health coaching intervention for individuals who have completed primary therapy for cancer. Up to 625 individuals with diverse cancer diagnoses will be enrolled across up to 8 clinical sites to participate in a randomized wait-list control study. Those in the intervention group will receive 6 months of digital coaching up front followed by 6 months of ongoing monitoring via patient reported and clinical outcomes, as well as wearable data. Those in the control group will be monitored via patient reported and clinical outcomes as well as wearable data for the first 6 months followed by 6 months of digital health coaching. Both groups will collect fecal microbiome samples at enrollment and month 6. Risk for substance use disorder (SUD) begins early in the life course. Although preventing and decreasing illicit and nonmedical drug use among youth is an urgent public health priority, there are currently few evidence-based prevention strategies feasible for delivery in the primary care setting. The investigators propose a three-year plan to collect critical pilot data to pilot test and optimize a dyadic intervention that aims to increase family resilience, strengthen coping skills, help families plan for the future, and prevent youth SUD. The 'prototype' for the intervention approach is Family Talk, an evidence-based parent-youth dyadic intervention that can be delivered within the existing infrastructure of the patient-centered medical home. The investigators have made preliminary adaptations to the model in preparation for testing. To prepare for a subsequent efficacy study, a two-arm pilot randomized controlled trial of the intervention with 40 parent-youth dyads to optimize the intervention model will be conducted. The feasibility of the intervention will be evaluated. In addition, empiric estimates of study parameters to inform the planning of a fully powered randomized controlled trial and plausible intervention targets using semi-structured qualitative interviews will be obtained. This clinical trial looks at the use of an internet-based application (app) intervention in improving adherence to endocrine therapy (ET) among patients with early stage hormone receptor-positive HER2-negative breast cancer. ET can significantly reduce the return of the cancer in patients who are compliant with their treatment regimen. Despite this, adherence to ET is poor due to side effects, lack of social support and timely access to clinicians, and poor patient understanding of the necessity and effectiveness of the therapy. An internet-based app may help patients improve their adherence to ET by providing reminders, side effect mitigation strategies available in the educational videos and from contacting providers/ nurse on the research team directly via the app. Read Less

This research study will evaluate how well brain metastases associated with HER-2 positive breast cancer can be controlled using a type of radiation known as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) when combined with three therapeutic agents, tucatinib, capecitabine, and trastuzumab.
