Sinai Vein Stent Registry
Recruiting
The Sinai Vein Stent Registry aims to establish and maintain a registry of patients who have undergone a vein stent placement procedure at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. The purpose of this study is to monitor and evaluate the long-term outcomes of venous stents placed to treat venous outflow obstruction. Outcome variables that will be assessed are: patency rate, reintervention rate, occurrence of any complications, clinical improvement, and quality of life. Venous outflow obstruction is define... Studying the Modification of Attention Bias Remotely After Trauma
Recruiting
The investigators will complete an entirely remote randomized controlled trial (RCT) comparing 14 sessions of attention bias modification (ABM), attention control training (ACT), placebo neutral attention training, and a final control condition with daily questions in 1,897 individuals with clinically significant Post-traumatic Stress Symptoms (PTSS) (defined as PCL-5 score ≥ 33). To assess effects of the training and control conditions, the investigators will administer tests of threat-related... Read More

Mobile Health for Adherence in Breast Cancer Patients
Recruiting
This clinical trial compares the use of the connected customized treatment platform (CONCURxP), consisting of using a medication monitoring device called WiseBag along with text message reminders for missed or extra medication events, to enhanced usual care (EUC), where patients only use the WiseBag, to monitor medication adherence in patients with metastatic breast cancer who are taking a CKD4/6 inhibitor. To ensure CDK4/6 inhibitors achieve their full clinical benefit, patients need to take th... Read More

Radiation Therapy With or Without Cisplatin in Treating Patients With Stage III-IVA Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck Who Have Undergone Surgery
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well radiation therapy with or without cisplatin works in treating patients with stage III-IVA squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck who have undergone surgery. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet kno... Read More

Quantitatively-informed Socket Design Process
Recruiting
This study will investigate the effects of specific standardized modifications to trans-femoral prosthetic sockets in a randomized within-subject design. This is in preparation for a subsequently planned clinical trial to validate the findings by implementing them into a fitting method for individual sockets.

Endurance Exercise & Virtual Reality for Optimizing Cortical Excitability and Neuroplasticity in PD
Recruiting
This study aims to determine the effects of aerobic exercise as a primer to add-on virtual reality (VR)-based rehabilitation on balance, postural control and neuroplasticity (ability of brain to adapt in structure and function) in individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD). This study will utilize two groups - one group will receive the exercise and VR, while the other group will receive stretching exercise and VR over eight weeks. The study team will administer outcomes at baseline, post-interve... Read More

Imaging SV2A in Mood Disorders
Recruiting
This study is designed to examine SV2A density in MDD and PTSD as a correlate of synaptic density, and to determine whether ketamine administration will reverse the synaptic loss in vivo in human subjects. To our knowledge, this is the first human study to examine SV2A in vivo in MDD and PTSD and to use the first known drug (ketamine) that rapidly reverses synaptic loss to determine whether ketamine administration could restore some of the structural changes associated with depression and PTSD.... Belantamab Mafodotin, Pomalidomide and Dexamethasone for the Treatment of High-Risk Myeloma
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies the effect of belantamab mafodotin, pomalidomide, and dexamethasone in treating patents with high-risk myeloma. Belantamab mafodotin is a monoclonal antibody, called belantamab, linked to a chemotherapy drug, called mafodotin. Belantamab is a form of targeted therapy because it attaches to specific molecules on the surface of cancer cells, known as BCMA receptors, and delivers mafodotin to kill them. Chemotherapy drugs, such as pomalidomide, work in different ways to... Read More

Cost Communication and Financial Navigation in Cancer Patients (COSTCOM)
Recruiting
This clinical trial evaluates the effect of Cost Communication and Financial Navigation (CostCOM) intervention on adherence to care and financial burden in cancer patients. Many cancer patients experience financial hardship due to high medical out of pocket costs (OOPC), changes in employment, income and insurance. Financial hardship can lead to a delay or a stop in cancer care, and is linked to poor quality of life. Financial navigation programs, such as CostCOM, provide financial counseling, e... Read More

A Study to Assess Safety, Tolerability, and Pharmacokinetics of ABSK061 in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors
Recruiting
This is an open-label phase 1 study with expansion. The study will start with a dose escalation of single-agent ABSK061 administered in repeated 28-day cycles in patients with advanced solid tumors to evaluate safety and tolerability. The expansion part will investigate oral ABSK061 at the recommended dose for expansion (RDE) to further evaluate safety and tolerability among selected tumor types. Preliminary antitumor activity will also be assessed.
