Quantitatively-informed Socket Design Process
Recruiting
This study will investigate the effects of specific standardized modifications to trans-femoral prosthetic sockets in a randomized within-subject design. This is in preparation for a subsequently planned clinical trial to validate the findings by implementing them into a fitting method for individual sockets.

Effects of Remote Ischemic Conditioning on Bimanual Skill Learning and Corticospinal Excitability in Children With Unilateral Cerebral Palsy
Recruiting
Unilateral cerebral palsy (UCP) is a leading cause of childhood disability. An early brain injury impairs the upper extremity function, bimanual coordination, and impacts the child's independence. The existing therapeutic interventions have higher training doses and modest effect sizes. Thus, there is a critical need to find an effective priming agent to enhance bimanual skill learning in children with UCP. This study aims to determine the effects of a novel priming agent, remote ischemic condit... Read More

Endurance Exercise & Virtual Reality for Optimizing Cortical Excitability and Neuroplasticity in PD
Recruiting
This study aims to determine the effects of aerobic exercise as a primer to add-on virtual reality (VR)-based rehabilitation on balance, postural control and neuroplasticity (ability of brain to adapt in structure and function) in individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD). This study will utilize two groups - one group will receive the exercise and VR, while the other group will receive stretching exercise and VR over eight weeks. The study team will administer outcomes at baseline, post-interve... Read More

Radiation Therapy With or Without Cisplatin in Treating Patients With Stage III-IVA Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck Who Have Undergone Surgery
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well radiation therapy with or without cisplatin works in treating patients with stage III-IVA squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck who have undergone surgery. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet kno... Read More

Ovarian Morphology in Girls
Recruiting
Establishment of regular menstrual cycles is a key component of reproductive maturation and a recognized vital sign for health and well-being. Irregular menstrual cycles are especially common for the first 2-3 years after an adolescent's first menstrual period (i.e., menarche), which delays the identification and diagnosis of early reproductive disturbances such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The purpose of this research study is to determine whether the ovary can serve as a reliable predi... Read More

Belantamab Mafodotin, Pomalidomide and Dexamethasone for the Treatment of High-Risk Myeloma
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies the effect of belantamab mafodotin, pomalidomide, and dexamethasone in treating patents with high-risk myeloma. Belantamab mafodotin is a monoclonal antibody, called belantamab, linked to a chemotherapy drug, called mafodotin. Belantamab is a form of targeted therapy because it attaches to specific molecules on the surface of cancer cells, known as BCMA receptors, and delivers mafodotin to kill them. Chemotherapy drugs, such as pomalidomide, work in different ways to... Read More

Cost Communication and Financial Navigation in Cancer Patients (COSTCOM)
Recruiting
This clinical trial evaluates the effect of Cost Communication and Financial Navigation (CostCOM) intervention on adherence to care and financial burden in cancer patients. Many cancer patients experience financial hardship due to high medical out of pocket costs (OOPC), changes in employment, income and insurance. Financial hardship can lead to a delay or a stop in cancer care, and is linked to poor quality of life. Financial navigation programs, such as CostCOM, provide financial counseling, e... Read More

Imaging SV2A in Mood Disorders
Recruiting
This study is designed to examine SV2A density in MDD and PTSD as a correlate of synaptic density, and to determine whether ketamine administration will reverse the synaptic loss in vivo in human subjects. To our knowledge, this is the first human study to examine SV2A in vivo in MDD and PTSD and to use the first known drug (ketamine) that rapidly reverses synaptic loss to determine whether ketamine administration could restore some of the structural changes associated with depression and PTSD.... Using Biomarkers to Help Guide Safe Immunotherapy Discontinuation in Patients With Unresectable Stage IIIB-IV Melanoma, The PET-Stop Trial
Recruiting
This phase II trial investigates how well biomarkers on PET/CT imaging drive early discontinuation of anti-PD-1 therapy in patients with stage IIIB-IV melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Anti-PD-1 therapy has become a standard therapy option for patients with unresectable melanoma. This trial is being done to determine if doctors can safely shorten the use of standard of care anti-PD1 therapy for melanoma by using biomarkers seen on PET/CT imaging and tumor biopsy.

A Study to Assess Safety, Tolerability, and Pharmacokinetics of ABSK061 in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors
Recruiting
This is an open-label phase 1 study with expansion. The study will start with a dose escalation of single-agent ABSK061 administered in repeated 28-day cycles in patients with advanced solid tumors to evaluate safety and tolerability. The expansion part will investigate oral ABSK061 at the recommended dose for expansion (RDE) to further evaluate safety and tolerability among selected tumor types. Preliminary antitumor activity will also be assessed.
