The purpose of this study is to determine if intranasal (IN) Ketorolac in combination with oral Prochlorperazine and Diphenhydramine is non-inferior to current migraine management which involves use of intravenous (IV) Ketorolac and oral adjuncts Prochlorperazine and diphenhydramine for reducing pain intensity in children with migraine headaches. The investigators hypothesize that IN ketorolac combined with these oral adjuncts is non-inferior to IV ketorolac and oral adjuncts in reducing acute migraine headache pain by a minimum clinically significant difference within 60 minutes of administration. The study aims to build on the knowledge of the United States' ongoing maternal health crisis for Black birthing people. The study team will take a holistic focused approach to build on the experiences of Black women perinatal nurses, Black women/birthing people, and their care partners enrolled in the Holistic Care Partner Program (HCP) to understand the program's feasibility and acceptability. HCP was developed at NYU Langone Health by Blank women-led perinatal nurses to address the effects of obstetric racism and the associated fear of pregnancy and birth faced by Black women and birthing people. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study will focus on understanding HCP's acceptability and feasibility via surveys and qualitative interviews with Black women and birthing people and their partners/support persons to identify strategies and recommendations for intervention improvement. Patients with advanced pancreas adenocarcinoma will be randomized on a 6:1 basis to receive standard of care chemotherapy followed by adaptive stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) with concurrent and adjuvant FAK inhibitor defactinib (experimental arm) or standard of care chemotherapy followed by SBRT (control arm). Patients enrolled to the experimental arm will be assessed for clinical outcomes such as progression free survival (PFS), local control, distant control, and toxicity. The first 6 patients randomized to the experimental arm will be considered the safety lead-in and will be assessed for dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs). The 6 patients randomized to the control arm will be evaluated for correlatives but will not be included in the analysis for primary and secondary endpoints. Read Less

Inhaler nonadherence is a common problem that has been estimated to account for approximately 60% of all asthma-related hospitalizations. Unfortunately, prior interventions to improve inhaler nonadherence have shown a lack of long-term success. This study proposes to assess the problem of non-adherence using a D\&I research lens while testing a new inhaler approach to potentially ameliorate the detrimental consequences of maintenance inhaler nonadherence. The primary purpose of this hybrid Type II comparative effectiveness and implementation study is to compare two self-management strategies in nursery and landscape workers. This randomized pragmatic study will compare interventions with different degrees of support to determine if self-management videos plus multimodal personalized support is more effective than self-management videos alone for improving LBP among horticulture workers. Both groups will review short self-management video modules to introduce general pain concepts and the importance of managing pain without medication, risks of opioid use, self-management of pain, and simple ergonomic strategies for both groups. Both groups will choose 1 self-management strategy to manage pain at home and 1 ergonomic workplace strategy to limit pain. The video+support group will receive 1) check-list guidance, 2) review videos of their work tasks, and 3) receive text reminders to support implementation. Surveys will include instruments reflecting low back pain disability, pain, work ability, and affective or cognitive characteristics (self-efficacy, pain anxiety, depression, coping), collected at baseline, pre- and post-intervention, with follow-ups at 3- and 6-months. Workers will be videoed pre- and post-intervention for calculation of work risk and to compare any changes after the intervention. Specific aim 2 will identify contextual factors impacting engagement, adoption, effectiveness, and implementation. This clinical trial aims to study if a drug called anifrolumab works to treat Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) as well as its effect in quality of life before and after treatment. Anifrolumab is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits several processes that have been shown to be involved in the development of HS. The study lasts approximately 40 weeks separated into a screening, treatment, and follow-up phase. Researchers determine if it is safe for the you to receive the drug and if you are eligible for the study during Screening. If eligible for the study, the treatment phase lasts 24 weeks (or six months) with one follow-up visit 12 weeks after the last visit in the treatment phase. During the treatment phase, participants will be asked to come to clinic every two weeks for the first month of treatment, and monthly thereafter for a total of eight treatment visits. Participants will be asked to: * Complete questionnaires asking about the effect of HS in their daily lives and their perception of HS and treatment received. * Receive related medical evaluation * Receive the study drug intravenously * Stay 20 minutes after the infusion for monitoring Read Less

The purpose of this study is to develop a technique for the intraoperative identification of human functional and epileptiform cortex using intrinsic signal imaging. The investigators propose that the ability to optically monitor neuronal activity in a large area of cortex in "real-time" will be a more sensitive and time-saving method than the electrical methods currently available. The applications of this technique will not only theoretically increase the safety and efficacy of many of neurosurgical procedures, but will be useful as an investigational tool to study human cortical physiology. The purpose of this study is to test the safety of the study drug 2141-V11 in people whose NMIBC did not respond to standard treatment, and who will not have the standard surgical procedure to remove the bladder. The researchers will test different doses of 2141-V11 to see which dose is safest in people. The researchers will also do tests to see how the body absorbs, distributes, and gets rid of 2141-V11. This study is one of the first to test 2141-V11 in people, and the first to test 2141-V11 delivered through a catheter into the bladder. Read Less
