The overall goal of this project is to advance a biologically-based approach to treatment of reading disorders after stroke, which will expand the limits of cognitive rehabilitation. Using a novel brain imaging technique, called real-time functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) neurofeedback combined with right hand motor imagery, this project will re-instate brain activity in the left language-dominant hemisphere. Stroke patients will practice modulating their own brain activity using fMRI neurofeedback signal and will select the most effective mental strategies that help them maintain brain activation patterns associated with better reading recovery. The aim of this clinical trial is to compare the efficacy of a 16-week center-based Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT-C) versus home-based Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT-H) in targeting social communication deficits in young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with significant language delay. This is a multi cohort, sequential enrollment clinical trial to determine the safety and tolerability of Dupilumab and Anakinra with PD-(L)1 blockade for patients with relapsed/refractory metastatic NSCLC. Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (REBOA) is a life-saving emergency procedure that is highly suited for simulation-based training. This study aims to assess the validity of our REBOA simulator with virtual coach (or live quantitative feedback) for mastery learning. The hypotheses are: H0: Virtual coach is non-inferior in REBOA training to an average human instructor. H1: Virtual coach is inferior in REBOA training to an average human instructor. We expect to learn whether the virtual coach is non-inferior to an average human instructor for US-guided REBOA training. The clinical trial compares the reproducibility and accuracy of cardiac tonometry-based portable systems that may detect early cardiac dysfunction (SphygmoCor® Xcel and Oscar 2™ ambulatory blood pressure monitor) at home and in the clinic to currently available screening tests for heart failure including echocardiogram (echo) and cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR). The SphygmoCor® Xcel and Oscar 2™ systems may help detect cardiac dysfunction earlier than other available screening tests because it can be self-administered outside of the clinic. This is a single center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase II clinical trial (RCT) to evaluate the efficacy of topical 10% Polyvinylpyrrolidone-Iodine (PVPI) to prevent new cavitated caries lesions when applied to the teeth of children with Severe Early Childhood Caries (S-ECC). At baseline, following oral rehabilitation in the operating room {10% (PVPI + Fluoride Varnish (FV)} will be compared to the current standard of care (Placebo + FV).
