A Single port platform (Intuitive SP) is FDA approved for Head and Neck and Urology but has not been widely used in colorectal surgery. The purpose of this project is to test sleep reactivity as an independent cause of Shift Work Disorder (SWD). The primary hypothesis is that those with high sleep reactivity will show persistent SWD symptoms after experimental reduction of circadian misalignment, which will then be mitigated with CBT. This is a prospective, single-arm study designed to understand the mechanisms that lead to a loss of response to influenza vaccine in older adults. The investigators will recruit and longitudinally follow a cohort of 75 older adults (65 years and older) who will receive three different influenza vaccines over three annual influenza seasons. Blood samples will be collected from the participants at sixteen study visits over three years. Nasal swab and stool samples will also be collected from participants at seven time-points across the study period. Patients experiencing sports medicine-related injuries are particularly vulnerable to developing both chronic pain and experiencing prolonged opioid use. This multiarmed randomized controlled trial will quantify the impact of integrating Life Care Specialists, and pain management-focused paraprofessionals, have on increasing access to multimodal pain management approaches and subsequently optimizing both patient-reported pain-related outcomes and objective measures of activity. Life Care Specialists work with patients and clinicians on implementing non-pharmacological pain management approaches, specifically teaching participants how to implement mindfulness-based skills into their recovery, systematically conducting standardized biopsychosocial pain assessments, and coordinating care. By developing a toolbox of pain management approaches with the support of the Life Care Specialist, patients are well positioned to incorporate evidence-based pain management approaches into their recovery that result in improved psychosocial functioning and reduced opioid medication utilization. In total, 150 individuals with sports medicine injuries will be randomized to one of two intervention arms where they will work with a Life Care Specialist in person or over telehealth or receive standard-of-care written postoperative instructions for pain management. Patient-reported outcomes, objective actigraphy movement outcomes captured using wrist-based watches, and opioid utilization captured using medication event monitoring system (MEMS) caps will be evaluated over 3-months postoperatively for a total of 4 study visits. This single center, single arm, open-label, phase 2 study will assess the safety and efficacy of a pedicled temporoparietal fascial (TPF) or pericranial flap into the resection cavity of newly diagnosed glioblastoma multifome (GBM) patients. The objective of the Phase 2 study is to demonstrate that this surgical technique is safe and effective in a human cohort of patients with resected newly diagnosed AA or GBM and may improve progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). The goal of this quasi-experimental interventional study is to determine the effectiveness of a multifaceted stewardship intervention in reducing overall vancomycin use in five tertiary care Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU). There are two groups of subjects in this study: PICU clinicians/sepsis stakeholders and patients admitted to one of the participating PICUs during the study period. The intervention will at a minimum include: * Implementation of a clinical guideline indicating when vancomycin should and should not be used * Unit-level feedback on overall vancomycin use within and across centers * Clinician education. The impact of cerebrovascular procedures on patients experiencing anxiety and depression is not well studied despite the high prevalence of these mental health disorders. Unruptured Intracranial aneurysms (UIAs) have a prevalence of approximately 3% and an annual risk of 1-2% in the general population. Despite the high risk of fatality following aneurysm rupture with a rate of 40-50%, the overall aneurysm growth and rupture risks are rare (less than 3% per aneurysm per year) and many patients can be observed with serial follow-up imaging over years. Nevertheless, due to the gravity of the bad consequences of aneurysm rupture, simply informing many patients of UIA diagnosis has been found to result in worse outcomes of health-related quality of life. This study will explore potential links between atopic dermatitis and food allergy. This information will be useful to determine atopic dermatitis and food allergy share unique biochemical or genetic identifiers useful for diagnosing and treatments in the future. This is a mechanistic study consisting of obtaining blood and skin samples from participants at baseline. Individuals may also undergo a clinically indicated oral food challenge and have blood and skin samples collected at various times during the oral food challenge. This study will create a molecular map of the pathology of atopic dermatitis and food allergy. This information will be deployed to evaluate the hypothesis that atopic dermatitis and food allergy share unique genetic transcriptional signals in which the study team can then further analyze pathological pathways and cell types. United States maternal mortality and preterm birth rates are among the highest among high-income countries due in part to a combination of racial, regional and socioeconomic disparities in access to care and overall health. The research proposed focuses on adapting and expanding a perinatal community health worker intervention for Black postpartum patients with preeclampsia (PE) and other adverse pregnancy outcomes (APOs). Investigators will partner with a community-based organization that trains and deploys community health workers. Investigators will test an intervention for urban and rural Black postpartum patients with APOs to 1) enhance blood pressure control postpartum and 2) promote long-term cardiovascular disease prevention for this underserved population. This pilot study will determine if randomizing and implementing a community health worker intervention tailored to pregnant people experiencing preeclampsia is feasible and found to be acceptable by participants. The REFORM-HF study aims to test a new technology, AquaPass, designed to assist patients experiencing symptoms of fluid overload due to Heart Failure. Patients will wear a lightweight suit that helps remove excess fluids through their sweat. The investigators want to see if the AquaPass system can remove an additional 500mL of fluids during treatment, alongside patients' regular medications like diuretics.
