This observational study involves obtaining 2 chest CT scans; a historical baseline CT within ±1 year of enrollment into PRECISIONS, and a follow-up CT (either historical or prospective) 12 months ± 180 days after the baseline CT. Many IPF patients will have a CT scan every 12 months for disease monitoring and cancer screening. Participants will have the option to share historical CTs only or they can choose to have a research CT done for the follow-up scan, if a scan for clinical purposes is not available. Read Less

This study focuses on providing an educational program for people/participants with bladder cancer who plan to have a cystectomy (surgery) as part of their standard care. Participants in this study will watch videos designed to teach them strategies to help lower their risk of experiencing negative side effects (such as mobility problems, issues with taking medication, and poor quality of life) before and after they have surgery. This multisite study seeks to understand whether and how pulse oximeter accuracy varies across children with different skin colors in real world clinical settings. Many factors can affect how well pulse oximeters work; for example, movement and even fingernail polish. Some studies in adults show that skin color may also affect the pulse oximeter reading. In this study, we will explore pulse oximeter accuracy in children of all skin colors who are undergoing cardiac catheterizations. The study will address limitations of prior work by objectively measuring skin color across multiple dimensions of color and comparing the the pulse oximeter reading to the "gold standard" blood sample measurement. The primary objective of the study is to determine changes in cerebral nociceptive hemodynamic response (blood oxygenation/flow) before, during and following spinal cord stimulation (SCS). Objective measurements of cerebral nociceptive hemodynamic responses will be obtained with the CereVu sensor and ROPA system and will be analyzed offline and compared against subjective measures of pain. The study will evaluate the effectiveness of the Just Care for Families program in preventing Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS)-involved parents in rural communities from escalating opioid and/or methamphetamine use and mental health disorders by disrupting the associated social determinants of health (SDOH). In addition, investigators will examine the impacts of SDOH on Just Care treatment and the associated costs from the perspective of provider clinics delivering Just Care. Just Care is a behavioral intervention for the treatment of parental substance abuse and child neglect for families involved in the child welfare system. Just Care involves treatment components, supported by ongoing purposeful engagement: (1) Substance use treatment; (2) Mental health treatment; (3) Parent management training; (4) Community building; (5) Systems Navigation; and (6) Addressing basic needs. The purpose of this research is to evaluate novel technologies for the assessment of ocular structure and function, including the scanning device called Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
