Many breast cancer survivors (estimated 70% in some studies) experience clinically significant depression and/or anxiety in the months and years after finishing cancer treatments. This research will build on the rigor of prior research to reduce breast cancer survivor depression and anxiety with a compassion meditation intervention called CBCT (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training) for online synchronous delivery that is also inclusive of informal caregivers (i.e., adult family members who live with and typically provide half the care for survivors, aka supportive partners). The goal of this clinical trial is to investigate the safety and effectiveness of cochlear implantation in infants and toddlers with single-sided deafness. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Are cochlear implants an effective treatment of single-sided deafness in infants and toddlers? * Are cochlear implants a safe treatment for single-sided deafness in infants and toddlers? Participants will receive a cochlear implant and be followed until they are five years old. During those five years, the investigators will program the device and monitor auditory development. Children will be asked to: * Undergo cochlear implantation * Wear their cochlear implant processor whenever they are awake. * Participate in traditional hearing tests * Participate in traditional hearing testing * Participate in localization testing * Participate in hearing in noise testing * Participate in word recognition testing * Participate in speech, language, and educational evaluations The researchers will compare results to children with typical hearing in both ears and children with single-sided deafness who have not received an implant to observe any differences between the groups. This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a combination of study drugs including zimberelimab, etrumadenant, and quemliclustat in combination with metastasis-directed irradiation in men with hormone sensitive oligometastatic prostate cancer. The study aims to test the hypothesis that targeted inhibition of the adenosine signaling axis (quemliclustat (CD73 antagonist) + etrumadenant (A2AR/A2BR antagonist)) and immune checkpoint inhibition (zimberelimab, α-PD-1) in combination with metastasis-directed stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) will improve local control, progression-free survival (PFS), and hormone therapy-free survival and mitigate immunosuppressive changes to the tumor microenvironment (TME), compared to SBRT alone. Cannabis use increased 10 fold among adults over the age of 65 between 2014 and 2016 but very little data exists on the extent of their harmful effects on health and behavior. The overarching goal of this project is to test a novel harm reduction strategy in which older individuals who seek to use cannabis for pain, anxiety or mood problems (depression/anxiety) will be randomly assigned to one of three conditions in an 8 week randomized controlled trial: hemp-derived CBD+THC, hemp-derived CBD-THC, or placebo. The goal of our study is to identify ultrasonographic markers that can predict adverse neonatal outcomes. Specifically, we hypothesize that an increase in fetal liver volumes will increase transcutaneous bilirubin (TcB) in the newborn and thus jaundice requiring phototherapy. This information can be used in patient counseling and to guide future screening protocols for ultrasound in individuals with diabetes. Read Less

The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of two different exercise training regimens for managing depression and improving other health indicators among persons with multiple sclerosis (MS). The project will enroll persons with MS and major depressive disorder (MDD) between 18 and 64 years of age. The investigators will enroll a total of 146 participants. This is a Phase-II trial that compares the efficacy of an exercise training program (POWER-MS) compared with a stretching program (FLEX-MS) for immediate and sustained reductions in the severity of depression among persons with MS who have MDD. We, the researchers, are following the natural history of Albright hereditary osteodystrophy. We have found that growth hormone deficiency is very common in patients with pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1A, which falls under the broader condition termed Albright hereditary osteodystrophy. Patients with pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1A typically are short and obese. Some of these patients are not short during childhood, but due to a combination of factors, they end up short as adults. We are evaluating the effect of growth hormone treatment in those patients with pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1A who are found to be growth hormone deficient (under R01 FD002568, IND 67148, which ended); those who are growth hormone sufficient and were found to have a positive clinical response to growth hormone in a prior clinical trial (under R01 FD00FD003409, IND 67148, which ended); or those who meet the criteria of idiopathic short stature or SGA. We are also evaluating neurocognitive and psychosocial functioning in participants with AHO in order to determine the specific impairments that are most common in the condition and to determine the best approach toward management.
