Dose Finding Study of CBM588 in Combination With Nivolumab/Ipilimumab in Advanced Stage Renal Cell Carcinoma
Recruiting
This is a single arm open-label phase 1 study evaluating the safety and efficacy of escalating doses of CBM588 in combination with nivolumab and ipilimumab. A standard 3+3 dose escalation schema will be used initially to assess the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) followed by a dose expansion of 10 patients at the MTD to further evaluate safety and efficacy.

An Assessment of Cognitive Improvement Training Among Mid-life Individuals
Recruiting
Many health-relevant decisions involve intertemporal (now vs. later) tradeoffs. Extensive literature indicates that many negative health and financial consequences suffered in mid-life are linked to adversity and disadvantage during early developmental periods of life. Individuals who continue to engage in these types of unhealthy behaviors despite awareness of the health consequences are exhibiting an inability to delay gratification. Delay discounting (DD) is quantified in human studies by de... Read More

DDX3X Syndrome -The Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment is Characterizing DDX3X-related Neurodevelopmental Disorders Using Genetic, Medical, and Neuropsychological Measures.
Recruiting
DDX3X syndrome is a genetic cause of intellectual disability and other neurologic features including, in some cases, autism. Variants in the DDX3X gene are thought to account for 1-3% of unexplained intellectual disability in females, making it one of the more common causes of intellectual disability. This study seeks to characterize DDX3X-related neurodevelopmental disorders using a number of genetic, medical and neuropsychological measures.

Study of TL-895 in Subjects With Myelofibrosis or Indolent Systemic Mastocytosis
Recruiting
This study evaluates TL-895, a potent, orally-available and highly selective irreversible tyrosine kinase inhibitor for the treatment of Myelofibrosis (Cohorts 1-3) or Indolent Systemic Mastocytosis (Cohort 5). Participants must be diagnosed with Myelofibrosis and be relapsed/refractory (e.g., having failed prior therapy), intolerant, or ineligible to receive JAKi treatment, or be diagnosed with Indolent Systemic Mastocytosis.

Healthcare Provider Human Papillomavirus Education and Professional Skills Intervention
Recruiting
Healthcare providers (HCP) serving the El Paso U.S.-Mexico Border Region will be recruited to compare educational and professional skills interventions focused on the human papillomavirus (HPV). Our hypothesis is that improving provider knowledge and communication strategies about HPV and its vaccine will reduce hesitancy and increase uptake and completion among the populations they serve.

A Deployment Focused Pragmatic Trial of Optimal Stepped Care Intervention Targeting PTSD and Comorbidity for Acutely Hospitalized Injury Survivors Treated in US Trauma Care Systems
Recruiting
This investigation is a randomized pragmatic trial of a brief stepped care intervention delivered from an acute care medical trauma center that may both reduce the symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and diminish emergency department health service utilization.

Immunomodulatory Effects of PCSK9 Inhibition
Recruiting
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) represents the leading cause of death worldwide. While medications, such as statins, significantly reduce atherosclerotic CVD (ASCVD) risk by lowering low density lipoprotein levels, they may also have pleiotropic effects on inflammation. The immunomodulatory effects of these medications are relevant to ASCVD risk reduction given that inflammation plays a central role in atherosclerotic plaque formation (atherogenesis) and influences the development of vulnerable pla...
