The goal of this clinical trial is to develop and evaluate the preliminary efficacy of an intervention to address alcohol use, sexual distress, and sexual assault risk among college women with a history of sexual victimization. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1) what is the feasibility of the recruitment method, research design, interventionist training methods, and delivery of the intervention; 2) does the intervention, relatively to control, the 2- and 6-month follow-up produces reductions in the quantity/frequency of alcohol use and heavy drinking, sexual distress, and sex-related drinking motives, and sexual revictimization. Participants will engage in both individual and group based intervention for alcohol use, sexual distress, and sexual assault risk. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the effects of transcranial electric stimulation on attentional control and brain dynamics in healthy adults. The main questions are: Does stimulation affect how subjects exert attentional control? Do mathematical models predict brain activity changes in response to stimulation? The objective of this project is to collect baseline data from a normative population of children that gender and age matches the population of patients expected to be treated by Mary Bridge Children's Research \& Movement Lab. This project seeks to recruit 20 male and 20 female typically developing individuals, between the ages of 3 and 25 years of age. Non-invasive measurements of movement patterns (motion analysis and force plate data) will be collected during bipedal gait. Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare responses to bronchodilator treatment delivered by three different aerosol delivery methods in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The main question it aims to answer is whether there are differences in lung ventilation following treatment with each of the three methods as measured using hyperpolarized Xe 129 with MRI. Participants will: Receive a standard dose of albuterol delivered using each of 3 aerosol delivery devices. In total, participants will receive three treatments separated by at least 1 week each. Following each treatment, participants will have inhale an MRI contrast agent called hyperpolarized Xe 129 and will have images of their lungs taken with an MRI. Researchers will compare the different lung images taken after each treatment to see if there are differences in the distribution of air in the lungs (known as ventilation). Read Less

This two year study will evaluate the effects of giving belimumab (Benlysta) to patients with Early Lupus. Early lupus is a diagnosis of lupus within 2 years. Subjects will be randomized to receive belimumab or placebo during the first year. During the second year, subjects who were randomized to belimumab will be rerandomized to continue to receive belimumab or to receive placebo. This will be a phase 2, single-center, unblinded randomized controlled pilot trial of two arms comparing opioid-sparing analgesia to the current Boston Children's Hospital institutional practice which has been reported to predominantly include administration of opioids as a first-line analgesic to pediatric patients who present to the emergency department with a diagnosis of acute pancreatitis (AP). This is a pilot trial for which many outcomes have not previously been studied in the pediatric AP population.
