NA-831, Atazanavir and Dexamethasone Combination Therapy for the Treatment of COVID-19 Infection
Recruiting
This Phase 2/3 trial evaluates four treatment strategies for non-critically ill hospitalized participants (not requiring ICU admission and/or mechanical ventilation) with SARS CoV-2 infection, in which participants will receive NA-831 or Atazanavir with or without Dexamethasone.

Quantifying Viral Load in Respiratory Particles That Are Generated by Children and Adults With COVID-19 Infection
Recruiting
The study will be a prospective cohort design to determine if children generate aerosols that harbor a viral load similar to adults. Prior to beginning enrollment, researchers may recruit up to 10 participants (adults or children who meet inclusion criteria for the main study) to perform a small pilot to optimize our cold chain and laboratory procedures. The study will include children and adults who are confirmed SARS-CoV-2 positive and aim for a total sample size of at least 10 children and 1... Read More

A Tissue Collection Study in Patients Who Respond to Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors to Identify Targets of Tumor-Reactive T Cells.
Recruiting
T Cell Receptor-engineered T-cell therapy (TCR T-cell therapy) offers a potentially transformative approach to treating cancer, but is currently limited by the lack of known targets (Maus and June, 2016; Ping et al., 2018). Arguably the most clinically meaningful way to discover new targets and TCRs for TCR T-cell therapy is to study the tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes of patients that are actively responding to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy. These T cells are clonally expanded as a r... Read More

Open Study of the Neurobiological Effects of Intranasal Ketamine in Children and Adults With Bipolar Disorder
Recruiting
Aim 1: Test the hypothesis that participants with Bipolar Disorder - Fear of Harm Phenotype have an enhanced amygdala fMRI response to fearful threatening stimuli, increased resting beta and gamma EEG spectral activity in temporal leads and blunted posterior insula response to cold when partially withdrawn from ketamine with normalization of these responses following intranasal administration of ketamine. Aim 2. Test the hypothesis that ketamine alters response to fearful-threatening visual sti... Read More

Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC)Treatment for Knee Osteoarthritis
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety and effectiveness of bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) in patients with moderate to severe osteoarthritis of the knee. BMAC provides a rich source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and is a stem cell-based therapy that has been reported to preserve or improve the structure of joints. The Angel System is the device used in this study to concentrate bone marrow from the patient and is intended to separate a mixture of blood and bone marro... Read More

Utility of Ultrasound-Guided Site Marking in Pediatric Lumbar Punctures
Recruiting
The standard way to identify landmarks in the spine before inserting a needle for a lumbar puncture is to feel by touch. The purpose of this research is to determine if doing an ultrasound to identify landmarks before performing a lumbar puncture will improve the first-time success rate of the needle insertion in pediatric patients.

Impact of Sensor Technology in Knee OA
Recruiting
OBJECTIVES: Physical activity has been established as an important component of rehabilitation for knee osteoarthritis (OA), and is often guided by a physical therapist.(1) Physical therapy for knee OA typically involves 1-3 sessions with a licensed physical therapist per week, for up to 12 weeks. These sessions can take a lot of time and effort for subjects, particularly when travel times are considered. Remote patient monitoring is an emerging treatment method which can help to reduce the nee... Read More

Assessing Variability of the Ventilatory Response to Duffin's Rebreathing Procedure
Recruiting
This study will combine Duffin's rebreathing procedure with additional study procedures, such as quantitative pupillometry, that are planned for subsequent clinical studies in order to confirm feasibility and gather reproducibility data using the procedure. The reproducibility of Duffin rebreathing has been assessed previously by Mahamed and Duffin (2001) performing hyperoxic and hypoxic rebreathing procedures measured once daily for 14 consecutive days and then by Jensen et al. (2010) performin... Read More
