Bipolar Disorder (BD) is a common and highly debilitating psychiatric disorder, however, the predisposing brain mechanisms are poorly understood. Here, the investigators aim to examine the immediate effect of transcranial brain stimulation (TBS) on brain activity and emotions in adults with and without BD as a first stage toward understanding the predisposing brain mechanisms of BD. The investigators hypothesize that TBS will reduce brain activity while playing a game with rewards in all adults, but the TBS will reduce brain activity more in the adults with BD compared to adults without BD. Furthermore, the investigators hypothesize that this reduced brain activity will be associated with reduced BD symptoms, such as negative emotions. Read Less

This research is studying two surgical procedures in a large group of people to learn about how well these procedures work as a treatment for ulnar neuropathy at the elbow (UNE). Researchers want to see which surgery is more helpful for people with ulnar neuropathy. This research will determine if one surgery is better than the other to alleviate symptoms. Read Less

Thermal ablation (use of treatment modalities that generate heat) has become a widely used tool for treatment of central airway obstruction (e.g. laser, electrocautery, radiofrequency, and argon plasma coagulation). However, this method carries with it an increased risk for airway fire - a surgical fire that occurs in a patient's airway and could also include a fire in the attached breathing circuit. To decrease the risk of airway fire during mechanical ventilation with an endotracheal tube, the concentration of inspired oxygen (FiO2) is set below 40% while waiting for end tidal oxygen concentration (EtO2) to fall below 40% prior to starting thermal ablation. There is no published literature describing O2 concentration within the airways (AiO2) during jet ventilation with rigid bronchoscopy. The co-investigators of this study have recently collected data on AiO2 during rigid bronchoscopy using manual low frequency jet ventilation/high frequency jet ventilation with a period of apnea. The intent of this study is to measure the time taken for the central airway oxygen concentration to drop from 90 to 40% when the "laser mode" is activated on the Monsoon jet ventilator. This phase I/Ib trial identifies the side effects and best dose of abemaciclib when given together with olaparib in treating patients with ovarian cancer that responds at first to treatment with drugs that contain the metal platinum but then comes back within a certain period (recurrent platinum-resistant). Abemaciclib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Olaparib is an inhibitor of PARP, an enzyme that helps repair deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) when it becomes damaged. Blocking PARP may help keep tumor cells from repairing their damaged DNA, causing them to die. PARP inhibitors are a type of targeted therapy. Adding abemaciclib to olaparib may work better to treat recurrent platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. Read Less

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a common disease with approximately 1% prevalence. RA is also a chronic, progressive disease with no cure. Current treatment goals are to minimize pain, limit joint damage, and prevent loss of function. Drugs used to treat RA include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), glucocorticoids, and disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs), including biologics. Methotrexate (MTX) is the DMARD of choice in the treatment of RA, because it has been shown to be both well-tolerated and effective in achieving clinical response and slowing radiographic progression of disease. However, this drug alone results in remissions in only a small subset of patients and reliable predictors of DMARD response have yet to be identified. This study is open-label of 16-weeks duration to identify factors that help predict clinical responses to disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARD) therapies for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) participants. All participants will receive a starting dose of DMARD medication(s) which may be adjusted by the investigator as needed. If a participant becomes intolerant of a DMARD medication, the participant will be withdrawn at the discretion of the investigator. Necessary withdrawals prior to week 16 visits will be considered end of study. Otherwise, end of study data as well as study serum will be collected at week 16. A portion of the blood collected at baseline, week 8 and week 16 for the optional addendum portion of the study is for future research and will be utilized attempting to look to detect the generation of superoxide radicals. These radicals have been shown to be associated with inflammation and may correlate with the progression of RA, which if confirmed, should decrease the levels of these radicals signaling response to treatment. Extra-articular (outside of joints) disease occurs in approximately 50% of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, with the lung being a common site of involvement. The goals of this study are to investigate and characterize lung disease and its prevalence in early RA participants. This will be done through pulmonary function and high resolution chest computed tomography (CT), questionnaires, and serum studies. Another goal is to find novel biomarkers, such anti-malondialdehyde-acetaldehyde (MAA) antibodies, as predictors of lung disease in RA participants. Read Less

This study was designed to evaluate safety and antitumor activity of HER3-DXd in two parts: Dose Escalation and Dose Expansion. In Dose Escalation, HER3-DXd was evaluated in participants with metastatic or unresectable NSCLC with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) activating mutation after disease progression during/after EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy. In Dose Expansion, HER3-DXd will be evaluated in participants with metastatic or unresectable NSCLC with EGFR activating mutation or squamous or non-squamous NSCLC (ie, without EGFR-activating mutations) with disease progression during/after systemic treatment for locally advanced or metastatic disease. In addition, HER3-DXd will be evaluated in participants with locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC whose tumors harbor a KRAS-G12C mutation after progression on the most recent line of therapy (Cohort 5). This is an open-label, dose escalation, multi-center, Phase I/II clinical trial aimed at assessing the safety and preliminary efficacy of an investigational ARTEMIS® ECT204 T-cell therapy. The trial is suitable for adult subjects (≥ 18 years of age) diagnosed with GPC3-positive HCC, who have failed or not tolerated at least two (2) different anti-HCC systemic agents. The study includes a dose escalation phase (Part 1 or Phase I) to determine the Recommended Phase II Dose (RP2D), followed by an expansion phase (Part 2 or Phase II) to further assess safety and efficacy.
