This proposed 2-stage randomized controlled trial (RCT) will evaluate a personalized patient-centered adherence intervention iTAB-CV + Self-Monitoring (iTAB-CV + SM) vs. Self-Monitoring (SM) alone in poorly adherent hypertensive persons with BD or MDD. This practical, technology-facilitated intervention has potential to improve adherence to antihypertensive medication and reduce SBP among high-risk individuals. This is a randomized controlled trial comparing groin closure after vascular intervention with Vicryl suture versus PDS (polydioxanone) suture. This will be a single center trail performed at CCF main campus. Patients will be enrolled in a prospective fashion and will be randomized 1:1 to either PDS or Vicryl closure. Patients undergoing bilateral groin exposure will be randomized to receive both closure types to either groin. Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to is to investigate if it is possible to lower the chance of cancer reoccurrence and also preserve quality of life by using the drug Pluvicto instead of androgen-deprivation therapy to the usual radiation therapy for advanced local prostate cancer. Participants will receive one dose of Pluvicto, followed by radiation about 6 weeks later. Radiation therapy will be completed in 5 treatments over the period of 2 weeks. A second dose of Pluvicto will be given 6 weeks after radiation is complete. Some participants may also receive a third dose of Pluvicto, and this would be given 6 weeks after the second dose of Pluvicto. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to test the use of topical imipramine in combination with topical photodynamic therapy's (PDT) effect on immunosuppression following treatment. PDT is a commonly used treatment in dermatology for patients who have many pre-cancers (actinic keratosis or "AK") on their skin. These are both FDA-approved medications, but this study is evaluating their use in combination, which has not been evaluated in the past. The investigators have been doing studies using mice that suggest imipramine might reduce immune system suppression by PDT thus allowing it to work better. Subjects whose provider has decided that they may benefit from PDT to treat their skin due to many AK precancerous lesions will be recruited for this study. In this study, participants will have 3 or 4 total study visits over approximately 10 total weeks. There is a two week medication washout period in between the 1st and 2nd visits. This washout only applies if participants are using a prohibited psoriasis medication (such as topical steroids or oral psoriasis medications, like methotrexate). During the washout period, participants will have to stop the prohibited medication(s). If participants are not using any prohibited medications, then the 1st and 2nd visits can be combined and participants will only have 3 total in-person visits. Participants will be randomly assigned (by chance; like flipping a coin) to either the Mediterranean Diet or no dietary intervention. After 4 weeks on the diet, participants will start treatment with either Anti-IL-17 or Anti-IL-23 therapy. Amblyopia and strabismus are characterized by a reduction in visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, grating acuity, vernier acuity, reading difficulties and binocular visual function deficits. Treated patients have residual visual function deficits. The purpose of the current study is to quantify various visual functions in amblyopic and strabismic participants at baseline, during and at the completion of treatment. Read Less

This randomized clinical trial studies how well high volume washing of the abdomen works in increasing survival after surgery in patients with pancreatic cancer that can be removed by surgery. High volume washings may remove free floating cancers present after surgery and help prolong survival in patients with pancreatic cancer. Read Less
