Autologous Ovarian Tissue Transplantation
Recruiting
Chemotherapy and radiation for cancer and other conditions can cause infertility. Several centers around the world are cryopreserving ovarian tissue from these patients though an experimental protocol, including the Fertility Preservation Program in Pittsburgh (protocol PRO08050491). The objective of this study is to study the efficacy and safety of autologous tissue transplantation in patients diagnosed with primary ovarian insufficiency after chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments.

Neoadjuvant Chemoradiation for Resectable Glioblastoma
Recruiting
Preoperative therapy has not been well studied in resectable glioblastoma. This study attempts to prospectively assess the feasibility and efficacy of preoperative chemo radiation in improving local control, as this is the predominant mode of failure in these patients leading to poor outcomes. This Phase II study design would be used to proceed with the study treatment after meeting pre-specified events in the initial phase, with goal being to determine whether the new treatment paradigm is suf... Subcutaneous Progesterone in Frozen- Thawed Single Euploid Blastocyst Transfer.
Recruiting
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, active-controlled, non-inferiority clinical study in women aged 35 to 42 years. This study will investigate the safety and efficacy of Progesterone-IBSA to support euploid embryo blastocyst implantation and early pregnancy after frozen embryo transfer (FET) in a modified natural cycle as a treatment for infertile women. Subjects will be randomized to receive either active Progesterone-IBSA or Crinone 8% for luteal and early pregnancy... Read More

The Effects of ATLAS Therapy on Nitric Oxide Bioavailability in Patients With Intermittent Claudication
Recruiting
This study will focus on people with claudication from peripheral arterial disease. The investigators are researching whether a multicomponent therapeutic can increase the production of Nitric Oxide in the blood and whether that leads to an improvement in pain free walking distance and overall physical activity.

Daily Caloric Restriction in ADPKD
Recruiting
This clinical trial will determine whether a daily-caloric restriction-based weight loss intervention can slow kidney growth in adults with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease who are overweight or obese. The study will also evaluate changes in abdominal fat by magnetic resonance imaging. Blood and fat samples will provide insight into biological changes that may contribute to any observed benefits of the intervention.

Naturalistic Sleep Assessed by Wearable Devices in Parkinson Disease
Recruiting
The cardinal motor features of Parkinson's disease (PD) include bradykinesia, rest tremor, and rigidity. Though non-motor features have been recognized for centuries, only recently has the prevalence and impact of non-motor symptoms become the focus of intense study. Disturbances of sleep are among the most common non-motor manifestations of PD; approximately two-thirds of PD patients experience sleep dysfunction of some kind. Given that sleep contributes to the regulation of many physiological... Read More

Study to Assess the Use of JSP191 in Matched Unrelated Donor Transplantation for Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD)
Recruiting
Background: Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is a rare immune disorder that can cause serious infections throughout the body. The only cure for CGD is a stem cell transplant. Transplants from a sibling are best, but many people must get transplants from unrelated donors. However, these transplants can cause serious complications in people with CGD. Objective: To see if a study drug (JSP191) can help improve the success rates of stem cell transplants for people with CGD from an unrelated do... Read More
