ASTOR's primary purpose is to enroll families and patients with a history of Alport syndrome in a central registry. This study will compare the effects on cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) of aerobic exercise in different amounts (number of minutes/session) over different periods of time (number of weeks). Aerobic exercise is physical activity of light-to-moderate intensity that uses the large muscle groups (muscles in your legs, buttocks, back, and chest) and can be performed for at least 10 minutes. The researchers will study the effects of different exercise programs on how well the study participants' bodies use oxygen, how well their heart pumps blood, how well their lungs function, and how healthy their blood vessels are. The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate efficacy and safety of evacuation of cerebrospinal fluid, blood, and harmful bacteria from the intraventricular, subdural and subarachnoid spaces by Active Controlled Irrigation and Drainage (IRRAflow) compared to Passive External Ventricular Drainage (EVD). Subjects with intraventricular hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural bleeding, and ventriculitis will be randomized to receive the IRRAflow device or EVD device and followed for one month post-procedure to compare outcomes between the subject groups. The goal of this clinical trial is to test the effectiveness of a parent-focused child sexual abuse prevention program (Smart Parents) delivered to parents enrolled in a parent education program (Parents as Teachers; PAT). The main questions the trial aims to answer are: 1. Does PAT + Smart Parents improve parents' CSA-related awareness and protective behaviors compared to PAT as usual? 2. Are potential gains maintained 12- and 24-months post intervention? 3. What parent-, provider-, and organizational-level factors hold promise for future dissemination and implementation efforts? The specific aims of this project are to create a registry, as well as a biospecimen bank for individuals with pancreatic disease (e.g. pancreatic adenocarcinoma, pancreatitis, intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) mucinous cystic neoplasm (MCN), and pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN) or have been determined to be at high-risk for pancreatic cancer. Biospecimen can be defined as blood, urine, tissue, stool, or saliva samples. Therefore, no hypothesis is to be tested. The personal data derived from the registry, correlated with biological information derived from the biospecimens will allow for future investigative studies of pancreatic cancer etiology and tumor biology. The long-term goals of the study are to advance the knowledge of the etiology and epidemiology of pancreatic cancer. It is anticipated that the knowledge derived will ultimately lead to improvements in the diagnosis, prevention, detection,and treatment of pancreatic cancer. Read Less
