Goal: The long-term goal of this study is to develop a mindfulness-based intervention (MBI) program to reduce stress and burnout while increasing belongingness and connectedness among faculty and staff at the University of New Mexico (UNM) College of Nursing (CON). Hypothesis/Aims: The central hypothesis is that the MBI intervention will improve psychosocial outcomes (sense of belonging) and physiological outcomes (heart rate variability, HRV) among CON faculty and staff. The specific aims are: Aim 1: Evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of MBIs (meditation or yoga) through participant interviews, recruitment, retention, and adherence rates. Aim 2: Assess the preliminary effects of MBIs on psychosocial (burnout, stress, anxiety, sense of belonging) and physiological (HRV) outcomes. The hypothesis predicts improvements in both psychosocial and physiological measures post-intervention. Participants: The study will recruit 60 participants from UNM CON faculty and staff using convenience sampling. Inclusion criteria require participants to be at least 18 years old, in general good health, employed at UNM CON, living in New Mexico, able to attend six weeks of in-person sessions, and owning a smartphone. Individuals with major medical conditions preventing participation are excluded. Additional screening follows the American College of Sports Medicine's guidelines. Groups: Participants will be assigned to one of two MBI groups: Mindfulness meditation Yoga Study Design: The study is a minimal-risk, single-site, quasi-experimental study. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is currently one of the standard diagnostic imaging methods used to diagnose tumor stage before treatment in the Radiation Oncology Department. It is also used to check responses to radiation after treatment. However, MRI isn't traditionally used in planning for radiation treatment or in checking treated tumor and tissue changes during radiation treatment. The goal is to find out the possible benefits of MRI imaging techniques in these settings of radiation treatment. The research aims are to study the possibility of using devices with new abilities such as the MR-Linac. The MR-Linac combines a radiation treatment machine with a diagnostic MRI scanner. This device will improve the quality of MRI-guided radiation treatment. The MR-Linac has functions that are currently not available in other combined imaging and radiation delivery devices. The MR-Linac does not provide additional imaging capabilities that are not currently available in other imaging devices. Participating in this study would NOT change the current treatment plans, this will allow the investigators to use the MRI methods in research and future patient care. Read Less

The goal of this phase II clinical study is to learn about the safety of inotuzumab ozogamicin when given with fludarabine, with or without bendamustine, melphalan, and rituximab before and after a stem cell transplant. Researchers also want to learn if inotuzumab ozogamicin when given after a stem cell transplant can help control leukemia and lymphoma. Inotuzumab ozogamicin is a monoclonal antibody, called inotuzumab, linked to a chemotherapy drug called ozogamicin. Inotuzumab attaches to CD22-positive cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers ozogamicin to kill them. Giving chemotherapy before a bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cell transplant helps stop the growth of cells in the bone marrow, including normal blood-forming cells (stem cells) and cancer cells. Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor attack the body's normal cells (called graft-versus-host disease). Giving tacrolimus and filgrastim before or after the transplant may stop this from happening. Fludarabine, bendamustine, melphalan, and rituximab are commonly given before stem cell transplants. Giving inotuzumab ozogamicin with chemotherapy may work better in treating patients with leukemia or lymphoma undergoing stem cell transplantation. Read Less

To examine the effectiveness of an individual health coaching intervention for lung transplant candidates. This intervention will include up to 12 health coaching sessions via phone call over a 12-16 week period. The goal of this pilot randomized clinical trial is to learn if Neurobehavioral Therapy (NBT) works to treat motor functional neurological disorder (mFND) (also referred to as functional motor disorder). The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does NBT lower mFND symptoms? * Does NBT lower common co-occurring symptoms and improve functioning? Researchers will compare NBT to standard medical care (SMC). Participants will be randomized to receive either: * 12 weekly sessions of NBT, along with their SMC, * or continue receiving their SMC as provided by their treating clinicians. * all participants. regardless of group assignment, will complete a total of five in-clinic visits at the following time points: Baseline, 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 8 Months and 12 Months for self-report surveys to assess functional status, quality of life and mFND symptoms. The proposed research study aims to evaluate the effects of autologous bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) on the development and progression of osteoarthritis (OA) in patients undergoing meniscectomy. This prospective, randomized, double-blind clinical trial will compare patient-reported outcomes, specifically IKDC scores between patients who receive BMAC post-meniscectomy and those who receive a saline control injection. The study will also compare physical examination, MRI, radiographs, and synovial fluid analysis.
